I can't get my head around how we get the result we did last week - with a decent all round performance by all accounts - and then go and perform like we did today. It's beyond simply not having good enough players, it feels like something deeper than that. Is it a lack of backbone in the squad that comes from a manager that doesn't instill enough fear if you don't perform? Is it the fact the squad simply isn't good enough to finish in the top six and we're actually finishing around where we should given our budget? Regardless, we should never forget why we are where we are; a decade of disgusting indifference and mismanagement from a bunch of spoilt, naieve and incompetent chicken farmers. You couldn't make it up.
