  1. "Slack defending" says Clinton Morrison, what a fucking surprise. Can't defend. Can't beat teams above us. I can hear the fat lady warming up, she's for you Tony you old codger
  2. Mowbray totally reaping what he sows with his approach to our defence
  3. Though we can't get much worse at the back Johnson coming in won't be great for Lenihan's form. Could be a long afternoon
  4. We'll lose this. Michael O'Neill will have out thought and out maneuvered Tony who will be focusing on listing off the entire Stoke squad, describing why each and every single one of them is a huge threat to little old Blackburn Rovers.
  5. He doesn't need saving in truth as he'll never get the sack And it hasn't papered over the cracks, utterly unacceptable and has been for some time.
  6. What in God's fucking name was that?! The abuse they'd be getting if I was there tonight, reckon I'd be turfed out
  7. And precisely fuck all will happen because of it. There are no consequences for being shit at your job at Rovers on and off the pitch. A decade of incompetence and mismanagement continues unabated.
  8. How the fuck do you defend Mowbray from here? Surely no one will even try after this. Even his fan club must see the writing is on the wall
  9. How long do I have to wait please? I'll take anything positive. I'll take a fucking corner.
  10. 3 yrs of plodding makes a man impatient. Actually 10 yrs of shit makes a man very impatient.
  11. With "punching above our weight" ringing in their ears it's no wonder this lot go out and do fuck all of note in the opening 15 mins against the mighty Rotherham
  12. How has this thread turned into a debate about Sam Allardyce? We'll win tonight by the odd goal, we like playing poor teams.
  13. Playing Rotherham United with Tony Mowbray as our manager, if that doesn't inspire apathy nothing will. We'll probably win this as they're bang average
  14. Tony spouting utter bollocks in the LT, again; "But I’m a performance related coach and the performance was alright, yet I’m still frustrated with the team." People can't fall for this utter shit. Playing 'well' and returning the same amount of points as the previous two years isn't in any way acceptable given the fact he hasn't had to sell a single player and been given money to invest in the squad. Frankly your 'performance' has been bang average, Tony. "They’re not Premier League footballers, they’re trying to get better, but we do make mistakes and we do make bad decisions at times." Not only is this removing any blame from himself he's also telling the whole squad they're not at the standard of the league we're trying to get promoted to. How fucking thick is this guy? Boils my piss it really does. " But we still created chances against the team top of the league, had 20 shots at their goal, and the journey we’re on is hopefully going to be exciting from now until the end of the season." Classic Tony, self preservation mode 101. I can see through your bullshit Tony. My only solace is that the more he spouts this shit the more I hope he feels that he has to say it, as he's getting some kind of pressure to perform from above.
  15. Where did I state we should get Roy Keane? I think he'd be absolute toilet but my point was he'd scare the shit out of our lot.
  16. Roy Keane would scare the absolute shite out of this lot after Mowbray's lemon drizzle approach. They wouldn't know what'd hit them! Actually on that, despite believing a better manager would get more out of this group, I do also think the players get off lightly vs Mowbray
  17. I didn't say he didn't want promotion, I said he's worked out how to play the game to ensure he gets the maximum amount of time in the job. In some ways fair play to him, he's in self preservation mode and I can't blame him. Sadly he's simply not good enough for what we now need as much as I wish he was.
  18. You've bought into Mowbray's nonsense about building different teams/a slow build etc It's utter rubbish. He's worked out how to play these owners to give himself the maximum amount of time in the job. Any proper, ambitious, capable manager would want promotion ASAP.
  19. Believing that we shouldn't replace a manager because you can't guarantee promotion with the next appointment is a really cluthicjg at straws. Nothing is guaranteed in life, if you don't take chances you'll never get anywhere. We've stagnated under Mowbray and made no progress where it actually matters. Our debt is growing and the only way to service it is with promotion. Your kind of attitude will see us in the same position in 10 years time, I just hope and prey that someone in India who makes decisions doesn't see it like you do and actually holds Tony to account for his under performance.
  20. We've seen it all before though this is where he is coming from. Mowbray can't/won't learn from his mistakes.
