  1. Black and grey would be great. Reminds me of the year of THAT Reidy thunderbolt.
  2. I’d buy a Rovers varsity jacket like that in an instant!
  3. Must’ve misheard over the phone. Frankly wouldn’t surprise me if we’ve pushed this all out only for it to actually be Bologna…
  4. The strength of the document is it’s simplicity imo.
  5. It’s far MORE juvenile. We Are The Rovers looks like a simple statement of fandom. It’s one of our chants ffs. Spirit of Shankly (as good as they are) has always sounded like a knockoff whisky to me.
  6. ‘Spirit of Shankly’ doesn’t exactly convey notions of a Supporters Trust as part of a Shadow Board either but it’s what they are.
  7. The business sponsorship pages are no better. Fielder claimed to value commercial more than fans, but he didn’t even do that!
  8. Jones debut vs Chelsea has to be up there. I seem to remember a game in the League Cup where David Thompson ran Charlton absolutely ragged.
  9. I’m going left field here and saying Ryan Nelsen vs Charlton in Alan Curbishley’s last game there, cos it turned out afterwards that he’d broken his leg after 8-9mins and still finished the match!
  10. Friedel Neill Samba Short Warnock Berkovic Tugay Thompson Dunn Duff Jansen
  11. I miss ‘Get your own back’. We need more Dave Benson Phillips in our lives.
  12. After recent discussions in another thread, I’d start selling John Bulls on the concourse.
  13. Elche are how I was able to watch Los Galacticos for €5. Figo, Salgado, Raul, R9, Carlos, Guti, hellfire what a side that was.
  14. Momentum makes some of those odds make more sense.
  15. Doesn’t describe Ennis to me, albeit I’ve only seen that highlight reel from last season. He seems more well-rounded, and I think Graham was also more well-rounded than your description tbh
  16. Now that both clubs are down, I actually feel JDT is more likely to stay. In his mind (or certainly mine) surely it’s better to keep building something you’ve started and have seen progress on that to move sideways to a new rebuilding job?
  17. And what’s the first thing we’ve done this window? Signed a striker, and one with potential to kick on after doing the business in a L1 winning side on a similar level to (and with a similar style to) Danny Graham’s goals for us. Exactly 14 goals. For my money, that’s a first big step to making up for it.
  18. Philip Schofield has declined the Spurs manager’s job, fearing it could harm his reputation.
  19. Whether you believe him or not, GB has said multiple times that JDT has the final say on all transfers.
  20. I’ll be sure to inform my nephew that he’s a moron because you said so 🤘
