Now that both clubs are down, I actually feel JDT is more likely to stay. In his mind (or certainly mine) surely it’s better to keep building something you’ve started and have seen progress on that to move sideways to a new rebuilding job?

And what’s the first thing we’ve done this window? Signed a striker, and one with potential to kick on after doing the business in a L1 winning side on a similar level to (and with a similar style to) Danny Graham’s goals for us. Exactly 14 goals. I don't think it's a myth. IMO, the 'invisible friend' was deliberate on Tugay's part, as a way of telling his teammates where they SHOULD be. There were many occasions where the exact same pass was repeated to success a couple of minutes afterwards (often precisely because the oppo expected a repeat of the failure).
