  1. Completely agree. Seeing the world’s best players play each other as often as they do isn’t good for the sport. It should be a special event. City vs Real Madrid shouldn’t be a potential group game, ever. It deserves knockout football, just as Mbappe vs Haaland does.
  2. If it was a fluke, then Dunny was onside. They can’t have it both ways!
  3. That’s better 🙂 just so tempting to put the same sounds in the same place
  4. Cantwell, the most effectual Cantwell, whose intellectual Close friends get to call him T.C. Providing it's with dignity Cantwell The indisputable leader of the gang He's the boss, he's the pip He's the championship He's the most tip Todd Cantwell Yes he's the chief, he's the king But above everything He's the most tip Todd Cantwell Cantwell
  5. He’s the most tip top-
  6. Nope, I’ve heard he prefers playing at the back.
  7. Equally, John Filan was a keeper we knew, a safe pair of hands. Why replace him with some Yank who barely got a game in Liverpool’s reserves?
  8. My apologies in advance. To the tune of Delilah… My my Aaaaaandi Weimaaaan Why why Aaaaaaandi Weimaaaan Iiiiiii could see You were well worth signing for free! And theeeen you smashed in a volleyyyy against Burnleyyyy.
  9. Or (forgive my amateur photo-edit):
  10. @Herbie6590 can we join your marketing team?
  11. Seriously (I’m spamming this thread now, I know) Karate Kid is one of my all-time favourite films. Properly fucking love it (don’t get me started on Cobra Kai, it’s amazing). Even now, when work gets overwhelming, I hear Mr Miyagi telling Daniel: ‘Daniel-san. Remember lesson about balance? Lesson not just karate only. Lesson for whole life. Whole life have balance, everything be better. Understand?’ Even his driving advice is sound: ‘Remember license never replace eye, ear, brain.’
  12. Fuck it, I’ll buy one and colour the flower red.
  13. Like this, but the BRFCS red rose in the middle? Represents the flower (I think a white lily), and the red symbolism of the rising sun. In fact, I now personally want to commission one!
  14. And No2 plays for Ferencvaros. Both mid-30s though, so Toth will lively get his chance while with us.
  15. The other keepers selected with Toth respectively are 34 and 33, and play for RP Leipzig and Ferencvaros, who have shared international duties roughly 60/40 for the last 10 years. Just adding a bit of context as to his potential international credentials, his competitors have played reasonably regular European competition for their clubs, and he seems to be the rising star behind them, 26 still being relatively young for a GK (albeit he should now be hitting his stride, which seems to be the case from his most recent season).
  16. She should’ve just shot it like they do.
  17. There are golfers who still believe golf should be old white men only.
  18. None worth joining. I’m a member of a couple of others (golf, and wrestling).
  19. I love things like this. The world takes itself too seriously at times.
  20. In fairness, only ten pages of people being dickheads out of 848 is decent going. Some other forums I’m a member of can be toxic af (and that’s the stuff that’s not hidden).
  21. I agree with the big personality thing in general (it’s literally the anti-football role), but Brad is one of the most softly-spoken ex-Rovers I’ve met. So defeats my own hypothesis 😂
  22. Well he scored in those instead…
  23. Completely agree and that’s without yet seeing Gueye and Ohashi pair up, or either of Cantwell or ACD (both mooted as potentially game-changing players). Something exciting may be brewing and I don’t mean ‘Barcelona ‘08 of the Championship’ bullshit. I mean the Arte et Labore and potential to mix it up with anyone in the league.
