Championship season 2019-20
Cherry Blue replied to arbitro's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
New manager at Stoke showing good already as they cruise to a 3 1 lead on 64 minutes. How long before they pass us? If only we had owners who had a bit of knowledge and could see what many of us have been seeing for months. Now 4 1 on 67 minutes. My blood is at boiling point. -
Leeds (A) - Same as last year lads... kind of.

not surprised. Pointless saying get rid as they won't. -

Tosin for me. He brings something different to the team that we've not seen for a while and I now like him complaining to our defense - someone needed to shout at them. Sometimes he does play a risky square ball but that shows his confidence. Can't see him reaching City's first team and in all probability a good season with us will see him signing for a lower premier team. Be good if we could have him for keeps but we aren't at that level (yet?). Looks like a leader to me. -
Sale of Rovers on this thread is way off topic. Weekends comments on the whole were as many of us expected. TM has done what he can and the longer the club waits to replace him or bring in a change at management level the deeper this crisis becomes. Doesn't look like change will happen which means we can expect the same process through team preparation and game time followed by in all probability this message board anger. Luton, Charlton to mention two games but also still fuming with the PNE result. TM's lack of appreciation for our faithful following, his team selection and his lack of tactics to change a game is annoying and results in negative feelings and game loss. Not looking forward to atmosphere on Saturday. We have the players, and I don't just mean senior level, but not the management structure under TM. We need gifted staff that can start bringing this club together on the pitch then the club can begin to climb this division. Pointless waiting as some have suggested, the club should have acted months ago and I fear this will continue to be the case in the coming months.

Huddersfield - Saturday Lunch for Sky

Not game related but want to get this one off my chest. I'm a BBNend ST holder and have been for many decades yet today I was asked to show my ST "....to ensure I wasn't going in the wrong turnstile….". There was no queue, no trouble yet I was stopped in my tracks and checked if I was going in the right gate, same gate since ground re built. Rant over. -
Regardless of the clubs ambition this season to reach top 6, it ain't going to happen. In short Mowbray does not have the management skills to challenge and we are left we championship survival being our ambition. Forget the FA cup. In the real world Mowbray would be history. However, with the club setup as it is, is there anyone prepared or even there to question the manager? He deserves respect for getting us back up but football is a results game and the longer this goes on the more frustrated (decreasing) fans will be. Don't like midday KOs and as I walked towards the ground today at 1215 I half doubted there was a game on due to lack of people. If we'd have beaten Charlton and Luton in earlier home gates things would be different.

Mixed views on Tosin. At first was critical of his arms apart moaning but then again maybe its a much needed wakeup call for the rest of the back line. Still scares me when he's calling for a back pass close to our open goal. -

Just zipped through the game again. Lack of challenges by Rovers was mentioned. -
In fairness he should have gone months ago. He will go this season I've no doubt but decisions between India and Ewood will drag on as we all know too well.
-
I heard that too walking under Aqueduct Bridget.
-
Message to Venkys, please read this board and make the right decision for Rovers by getting rid of Mowbray today.

We can complain about the refs every game, and in all probability there are many that went to the same school, but at the end of the day its bad management that's taking us back to league one. MOWBRAY OUT! -

Mowbray's a complete fool. Baffled everyone by taking MOM Holtby off. This team needs managing correctly and until we get rid of Mowbray the trap door will get closer and closer. -

How come you have Bennett as sub? We haven't seen much of Adarabioyo but he needs to start and be quicker to assert authority. -
Plus it goes deeper as the owners will wait and delay on a new management appointment.
-
Very disappointed after today's result and with the view shared by many that Venkys will not sack TM until its too late, where do we go from here? He should have been sacked at the end of last season but the club structure is in his favour. No doubt Venkys will hear about this (another) defeat, but not this weekend. They simply don't care about the club and they need to go as well.
-
Tony has shown without any doubt that he cannot do any more. We can see that, his bosses can see that so surely he must either be sacked or he goes of his own accord. Whoever steps in will be judged on future performance, as was Tony.
-
After 62 mins and only 3 shoots at goal. One was a pen on target. He has to go,
-
Graham has to start. He needs games to get back to where he was.
-
Probably lost his sharpness through lack of games
-
About 1600 Luton fans but the upper JW looked more full than usual. Good to see, shame team let us down. TM needs to have a shooting session in his training schedule ? because on today's evidence he doesn't.
-
Annoys me too. Everyone in the ground knows Graham is our best but he wont start him. Is this because TM thinks he's almost a spent penny and he wants to prove his £5m summer signing is the way forward. Recall Graham requesting to play in the U23s the other week so he must be getting frustrated at lack pf play time.

Someone already pointed out there were a few more home fans on today. Typical, team lack of performance blew chances of most of them returning.
