  1. Thanks for your responses. I'm really glad you went to the second meeting so you could get to see through the failed football agent conman. These past years have sadly made me ultra cynical about most things Rovers so it is refreshing to see your detailed review.
  2. And get Dack up the pitch nearer the opposition goal.
  3. Only the last link working for me too There is a shocking video in that site of a Charlton fan being floored unconscious by police at Old Trafford and the cops just walk away leaving the guy on the deck. https://footballawaydays.net/?p=1693&amp=1 https://twitter.com/1966awaydays/status/1613256093211283456?s=20&t=-hyqZ0n8OyY2OrLQC06SfA
  4. Yes I'm in line with the latest opinion. Putting Swag above the Williams regime had been sticking in my throat quite a bit.
  5. Well that's was one hell of a change from "Steve Waggott in person is not the same Steve Waggott we've heard in interviews, his passion, knowledge and general persona is probably the best I've seen from anyone within the club in my time, and that includes the Williams Regime. Although I'm only 5% through my questions for him, which I will pick up again in September, I can tell from my first meeting that my position/opinion on him prior to meeting him, has changed somewhat. I have been involved in lots of these type of meetings, and I don't go easy on people. I actually told him, this Steve Waggott is actually quite marketable. I can understand why many after meeting him are jumping to his defence, because I actually think with the right approach, he could become one of the most influential people the club ever has. There is evidently lots of work to do to rebuild, and a lot more questions I need to ask, but early signs I think are good for all of us" Good though that there was a second meeting.
  6. So now it's Jam in 4 or 5 years. Best keep the lid tight on the jar or it'll go well off. Rovers Jam - got to be a very runny jelly hasn't it. I think we've had a FaceBook invasion.
  7. That happened a lot first half and had me insulting the PC monitor. It was like he had no awareness of ball speed, where he was on the pitch and just did nothing. I did burst out laughing when he messed up the through ball. JDT claims he was 1 on 1 with the the keeper. Never close to that, the ball has to be controlled first and the effort to control became pass back to the keeper.
  8. Every time I see the word on here I just replace it with "pisstake" and all is clear.
  9. An academy guy all his previous career who for reasons only the likes of Suhail and Waggott know was appointed as DoF of a Championship club to learn on the job whilst running all football Departments below Boardroom level. I did not make that up. Maybe we're being harsh thinking he's out of his depth and really just the innocent victim hired to deflect away from the real villains.
  10. It's Chelsea, that's ok
  11. No changes needed to this thread. It's a good thread with decent Dingle visitors. It's me and what this club, Rovers, have become. I took my anger at Rovers out on this thread which was wrong of me. I have never been fanatical anti Burnley and am still not. They have fucked up my retirement years and the cunts will see me out and I'm taking it badly after, on rechecking, 65 years of being a Rover. Dad had converted me way before my first Ewood visit in 1963. Yesterdays pathetic no show just a tipping point.
  12. Lancs Live: Has it [the scoreline] shocked you? JDT: "No because we had a couple of those moments during the season so far. We need to be better at that. Of course it's not an excuse but we have a really young squad, you could see how young the team at the end was. it's something we need to learn. It's not an excuse" The truth: we started with just 3 players who could be labelled young and inexperienced. None in defence. We finished with 6 due to one injury and subs JDT made after going 0-2 down. JDT has loaded the midfield with the young and inexperienced. He is the one who has made Morton the midfield fulcrum. How can they have the brass cheek too claim there is a long term project that is built around someone else's player who will be off, and TTFFT, in just a few months time. If Morton was a product of our academy he would struggle to make the bench and probably in L1 on loan. They are not building any project. It is a con by grifters. Yesterday was the first time I have ever, in 60+ years, left a Rovers match early. O k it was only by switching channel but I was glad to get away from that shitfest and would have been down the pub if there in person. 12 years and counting of being fooled has taken its toll. Whether the current trainee stays as manager or fucks off with Rip Van Winkle is up to them. I couldn't care less.
  13. I'm sick to fuck of this arse licking Dingle thread. I didn't use to have a problem with them. Thanks JDT.
  14. Tella should have been sent off and a Burnley player rugby tackled a Coventry player as the corner came in freeing space for the jammy goal. Cheating since 1898.
  15. He has scored for Leeds, 2 goals in the PL 21/22 season. Plus 6 assists in all He came on yesterday v Villa. He's made quite a lot of appearances over the past 2 seasons, usually as a sub. I've seen him a few times, not tall but looks and plays like an actual footballer and is better than Vale or Gallagher.
  16. Why are so many keen to see Lampard sacked. Let him stay and relegate them, they've been shit for years.
  17. It's unbelievable but from what the Ref expert said during the match it was the correct decision under current rules and ref guidelines. It was the first thing I saw when I switched over from the Rotherham rogering.
  18. No worries, they only just scraped through today. NZ ..... a Dingle .... say no more ..... But the sheep are scared.
  19. Is that David LOW as named on the club's website.
  20. "Remy, wake up, did you see Gallagher trying to trap that through ball, fecking hilarious"
  21. Remy was asleep, can't be his fault for cracking a poorly timed joke.
  22. I saw just the end of the 1st half. Brighton were leading and Liverpool poor. Brighton were all over them.
  23. They didn't. I watched quite a bit. Norwich coasted the second half.
