  1. Preston losing at home 0-2 There is still hope of some pleasure today.
  2. You bin mine, and a quite brilliant comment too, but leave the bait intact. Thank you.
  3. I gave up watching when the 3rd went in and switched to Manure v Shitty. I chose to watch 2 of the top 2 teams I dislike the most in English football. Fuck of Venkys you fucking xxxxx.
  4. Aye, I'd like him if he was a Rover like his Dad
  5. And he often stops the ball prior to the pass. Not always, just often. Fast quick passing game? Not a chance while he's running the midfield.
  6. I was just thinking we wouldn't be too shabby if we had anyone who vaguely resembled a striker. But we are so slow in moving the ball forward and Hyam, Pickering and more and more JRC are reluctant to try and just go for the simple side or backwards pass when they are the one with space and time.
  7. A sneaky dirty little balding fucker. I doubt he's kicked the ball yet.
  8. Awful crossfield pass by us. Simply suicidal. Good finish though.
  9. What is the solution then? I can't think of one without some issues that can be exploited by the monied.
  10. Exactly, and my suggestion does away with the Jan window altogether.
  11. Rotherham 0 v Rovers 2 Vale to score. Dolan too as a 63 min sub.
  12. The one where you could do transfers at any time? If that system applied now with some Championship clubs cash rich with parachutes etc it would give them too much power to raid less rich but competing clubs at any time and just bid for players to manipulate. I would prefer one window that runs from season end to next season start and that's it.
  13. And just look at the points our playoff rivals have pulled back on us over just 6 games. Yet, in the logic of some, ours will not be anywhere near a must win game. And so it goes on. Meanwhile just hope that we accrue points this month as harder times are likely coming.
  14. I suspect that BT will be the winners today. Not by me I hasten to add.
  15. We should be signing players to support a real sustained playoff cum promotion push although I appreciate that is not on everyone's wish list. A loanee who has barely played at all for a year ... Well TBH I can't even guess at the thinking behind that.
  16. He's played less than 200 minutes of senior football in the past year, he's 5'7" short, he may or may not be still recovering from an injury, he's someone else's player and we already have young and inexperienced ... I know because JDT mentions it every time he breathes. Based on the above I confidently expect this someone I'd never heard of 5 minutes ago to be our No1 target this window. Way to go Rovers.... you never cease to feck with my gray matter. At least there's plenty of T20 to watch.
  17. There is a FaceBook page about old grounds and almost all were designed to follow existing road patterns. Some in more weird ways than seen at Ewood and the examples above. I have always assumed it was maximising the use of the land owned by a club rather than gifting it away to a local council in the form of wider pavements or streets outside the ground if the the line of the pitch was followed. Just a guess
  18. He does win trophies and could be the first foreigner to manage a country to win the World Cup. It's the sort of "special" thing he'd go for big time. It's just paper talk still but rumoured to be scouting an assistant ...
  19. First time ever the I wanted a Nathan Jones side to win. They deserved it and scored two cracking goals and City never managed a shot on target! Nice seeing Guardiola in panic mode. Hilarious seeing Grealish telling the player he'd decked to get up, pot kettle etc etc. Wolves deserved to win in normal time, they were the better team. Well the semi draw could have been Soton v ManUre ........ and Forest v Toon ... you'll know what I mean .... but it's all the luck of the draw ....
  20. Trybull regressed at Rovers and it just maybe wasn't all down to him. Agios signing for Blackpool.
  21. A packed Nuttall Street paddock as Bob Crompton leads Rovers out.
  22. I think so and to do with Alfred Nuttall, a Blackburn mayor and local businessman http://breweryhistory.com/wiki/index.php?title=Nuttall_%26_Co._Ltd
  23. You are not far wrong on the player analysis. The club are currently active in getting wages off the books so hopefully that is a step towards incoming.
  24. Newcastle see themselves in the Champions League next season and in the Super League when it happens. With all due respect to Ben he doesn't fit those expectations. Not when they can afford whomever they want .... ok they have the downside of being a shitehole but money sorts that out. He is a fit for both Everton and Leeds now.
