  1. Yesterday I did in fact watch Clitheroe instead of Rovers. I had just downloaded it via Torrents so forgetting there was a Rovers game on watched Just Jimmy, Series 1 Ep 2, which is the sole remaining episode in existence. It's called 'A Match for Jim' and somewhat ironically is about Jimmy wanted to go to watch an away game between 'Rovers' and 'United' and trying to get a lift there. Did a couple of Episodes of That's My Boy too. I realised that we had a game and by the time I 'found' it Wycombe had scored so I went back to the downloads. I did put myself through the extended lowlights today though. MOWBRAY OUT, OUT, OUT!
  2. I can still at 68. My youngest son can, he's 15. Brereton is useless and any he scores by a good looking shot will be down to luck and law of averages. Rarely have I seen someone like Brereton who just does not look like a pro footballer on any way. Forest wanted rid. We had unspent funds and I have previously read suggestions of agent connections. Result , we overpaid for a sack of spuds.
  3. Great player. I really liked watching him play. Saw him a few times in my younger days on trips to Goodison with mates. Long term memory is still functioning ok. I just forgot about last nights game!
  4. And don't forget both are behind what is being proposed for Brockhall in their Journey to destroy our Club.
  5. I'm pleased for Ainsworth though. Good lad. I'm going to watch Bransley v Reading just to see what we have to aspire to. FUCK OFF MOWBRAY.
  6. Brereton looks like a young version of Negan but plays like an ageing Walker* * The Walking Dead
  7. Half of today's bench will possibly or in some cases hopefully not be at Rovers next season either.
  8. Thanks, I had forgotten about going Incognito! Works a treat.
  9. LT back to a Paywall or at least registering. Not for me thanks. Not a penny and I don't want to be junked. How will I cope with not reading badly written shite by Rovers staff journos.
  10. So recruitment is data driven but in football you sign players based on what you see on the grass. So happy that's been cleared up. The man can spin a yarn that's for sure. It also occurs to me that as it's loans to come how can you be on a Journey when you don't have the bus fare? Mowbray: '' this club have invested a lot of money on different systems, data-driven systems that cost quite a lot of money that spill out the names of the footballers who spit out the names of the players we want to play'' - OK I will be honest, he fucking well lost me with that and I don't know who did the spilling or spitting. Barmpot managers never work well.
  11. Good move from a basket case to a club on the up. Sunderland may well be above us in the Championship this time next season. They most certainly will soon enough.
  12. I suspect he read up a bit on Google and had a look at Google maps. Waggott; ''but they seem to have a little more space than us on both side'' - seriously?, he's taking the piss or thinks all fans are thick as bricks.
  13. If that is a PR operation making the calls then any decent PR outfit will be able to sift through the responses and present their 'employers' with whatever they are looking for. That's how it works.
  14. Simple answer is the do not give a single one. Scum.
  15. Totally agreed. I read up a bit more on Reading: https://www.readingfc.co.uk/club/training-facilities/ How a proper Club operates and develops an asset. Any Waggott spies looking in please show to that Twat.
  16. I stayed up and watched us miss 3 sitters and then saw our first goal. Then came to my senses and went to bed still wondering why I stayed up to watch our 3rd Eleven play the worst national team in the World. I see we managed 5, ermmmm ......... well done, I suppose. Odd seeing us play in an away kit at home, maybe that's why I didn't take to the game.
  17. Comfortably won possession stats and only lost 0-1 Mowbray likes this.
  18. I doubt its particular to Rovers but a lot of our fans have been , IMHO, misguided - see, I can can be polite - for years. The idiotic anti-Allardyce mob, the pro Venky, pro Kean and, FFS, the pro Anderson lot. They will deserve what they will get, and they will get it. The problem is so will the rest of us. I support the Village Action Group from afar, our reasons may be different but looking for the same result. I read every post on this thread but as it triggers me so much limit posting as I now detest Mowbray and his rat-pack almost beyond reason. May the c-unts burn in hell.
  19. I think it shows that the residents in the Village are concerned about their Village and its future. That article is a little old so now maybe more have signed as against? I don't know how many people live at the Village but assume those 400+ are adults? It is not, unfortunately, necessarily representative of how Rovers fans think. However the Village opinion will at least be listened to.
  20. I was just about to ask the same question. The Brockhall Village and Old Langho Residents’ Action Group have in excess of 400 signatures of villagers opposed to the plans, a Go Fund Me Page and committed people running it. Best of luck to them in their endeavours. They are the best chance of opposing this. The Club in their response to the Villagers actions say ''If approved, the residential development would come with a comprehensive package of investment into community services and infrastructure, as is a required part of the planning process." The club also say that, as with any planning application of this type, there would also be a series of financial contributions the club would make on receipt of planning permission. https://www.lancs.live/news/lancashire-news/campaigners-say-blackburn-rovers-development-19953691 So plenty of Jam promised ...... for tomorrow.
  21. Thanks for posting the info. I recall Senior saying that Mowbray was his first and only call. Mowbray accepted the position knowing that he had to use the backroom staff already at Ewood, hence the likes of Lowe are still around. He managed to later manipulate the Venus and Waggott appointments once favour had been curried with Pune. How he swung his own appointment to full-time on the back of a relegation still mystifies me to this day, but then we do have complete prats as owners. Senior didn't last long after Mowbray rocked up.
