  1. Not just in Cricket either. Liverpool v Milan in 2005 ... off to bed at halftime
  2. Having just got up an hour ago after a good lie in it is apparent that I went to bed just before Lyth was run out. Bugger.
  3. The game v Derby is on some Intl TV including ESPN US Alternative viewing methods therefore expected to be available .. just saying https://m.livesoccertv.com/match/3753216/derby-county-vs-blackburn-rovers/
  4. @jw_ I am having similar issues when using my PC, Win 7 with Google Chrome Until resolved the EFL app on my mobile works fine
  5. I can't bloody sleep thinking about why Rashid got the last over and then tossed one that begged to be smacked and was. Tom C is supposed to be a good closer so I thought he might get it. Root was in weird but good bowling form but that might have been a step too far for the final over. My mind has gone blank it's 5.20 am here and I'm dog tired but either Wood or Archer had an over left.
  6. I was cooking my dinner and missed the 1st over. With the Aussies yet to bat I'm glad I saw Bairstow's innings and the 6s. There were some classics there.
  7. Only if the parties involved are unaware of what's going on
  8. BBC: The hosts made 10 changes from the side that confidently beat West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday and it showed in a disjointed performance.
  9. I can watch the full replay via the App on my mobile but not via the Rovers Website where it is available but won't play. Odd.
  10. Both We played pretty but largely ineffective tippy-tappy and only managed 3 shots on target with no goals against a bottom half PL side, well to be accurate their Reserves. After the Bournemouth match, I mentioned our quite pathetic attempts at shooting at goal. This time it's heading the ball, well actually not heading effectively. This runs throughout the team and some are not very good at it or just don't want to do it, Brereton and Bell are just 2 of those who will jump under the ball, if they jump at all, to avoid contact. Williams's weak aerial challenge and trot back led to us conceding at the Toon. With Lenihan and Ayala as our first choice CBs, TMs dreams of playing the ball out from the back will be under threat. At least Ayala can head the ball and will be an attacking threat at our corners and freekicks which we currently just don't have.
  11. Fixtures came out on Sept 6th after many delays due to Covid impact on teams and TV scheduling talks etc. The UAE had always been the destination of choice once home hosting became unlikely. Games will be played in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah
  12. Cardboard cut outs?
  13. Lancs eased past the weakened Yarkshire. IPL starts on Saturday at decent start times for me.
  14. The Armstrong theory fails - he cant time a pass that well
  15. I'm glad I stayed up for that, almost went to bed an hour and a half or so ago. 3.15 am here
  16. I swear I saw Bell make a couple of hefty challenges too!
  17. You lucky man! I have nothing but time, but not complaining too much, don't want to push my luck at my age. LOL In the 1st have we conceded 12 fouls, Bournemouth 4 In the 2nd half we conceded 4, Bournemouth 8 Especially in the 1st half the fouls we were deemed to have made were for the slightest of touches or no contact at all. There were 2 bad tackles in the 2nd half both by Bournemouth, the one by Cook was deliberate and nasty. You might think that at half time Bournemouth decided the Ref was Homer and went more aggressive but pushed it a bit too far resulting in their 2 bookings. Never a violent match but Travis and Lerma didn't seem best mates ?
  18. That is not why we lost nor even happened. The only goal that may fit your scenario came from Dolan's mistake and their fast counterattack. We still had defenders enough that should have coped better in that instance. Their goals 1 and 3 were caused by other circumstances and not marauding full backs. Nyambe did however attack more successfully than usual and much more so than Bell but not to the detriment of his defensive tasks.
  19. Its very early days for Dolan but it looks good so far although the cynic in me wonders if his style of play can survive long term under the current Ewood regime. The only way that Chapman will even get on the bench again will be a massive loss of form by other players or an injury pile up. For one reason or another, it hasn't panned out well for Harry at Rovers and I'm sorry for that as he was exciting when he first came to us. The best thing for Harry is to move on. He's still young and a different Manager will I believe be to Harry's benefit.
  20. I've just watched a full match replay of yesterday's game on iFollow. I had noticed this facility after the Doncaster game. Great being able to pause and playback at leisure. It emphasised how bloody awful the Ref was especially in the first half when every dive by Bournemouth was awarded a freekick to the ridiculous extent that our Captain was given a team warning. I saw it live yesterday but picked up on a lot more detail on 2nd viewing. Apparently TM sits down when he's happy with things, I suppose that includes when he was giving the 4th official both barrels in the 1st half. After Dolans failed step-over Bournemouth were put on an immediate counter-attack at speed with a numerical advantage and scored because of that. But blaming Dolan for the goal would be a bit like blaming Brereton for their 2nd. Not on. We actually played quite well and no one had a stinker, not even Bell. How our smaller units cope against a more robust side, like Wycombe next week, will be interesting. Our shooting still leaves a lot to be desired. Armstrong, Johnson, Dolan, and Evans all missed good chances. We only had 2 shots on target and Johnson's goal showed the value of that.
  21. Its an odd one and seems a deliberate ploy. Almost like he's distancing himself from what happens onfield. Meanwhile, Venus sits by his side picking his (own) nose and wiping snot on his knee. Inspiring stuff.
  22. Concede 3 goals and you get few points at Championship level. That's overall defensive weakness and that is Mowbrays fault
  23. I was just about to say the same and it looks great too
  24. There were never real options 1,2 & 3 IMO - some are just too polite to suggest it, that's not a criticism btw We did have targets that we knew were highly unlikely to happen, all covered in the Mowbray Excuses Book Paragraphs 1-99++ Actually it's a Binder not a Booh, easier to add pages
  25. It must be very serious to upset Cardiff who are a bit short in the morals and ethics department.
