  1. Which website is that? I would like to have a read. Might cheer me up a bit.
  2. I am convinced that we will lose at Brentford. We must beat Villa .... and hope.
  3. McCormack is another troubled soul looking for salvation in the bars of Glasgow. He will end up managed by Coyle in Scotland L2.
  4. I'm convinced that Del Boys appointment at Brum will make Villa try even harder. Villa have enough in the locker to see of Brum anyway. Not suprised at the ban reduction for Kodjia. The oppo guy was the one with feet everywhere. Sods Law he plays against us though.
  5. Same here! Can't stand the Spiv who makes Del Boy look like a Cub Scout. He will screw Brum for cash for sure. Arry will inspire Villa to beat Big Club
  6. JohnD's statement is correct and it was not davulsukur behind the thread derailment. The ' hole' is only in your opinion. I'm hopeful Rovers will escape the hole to L1
  7. Only if 1. Steele was the keeper for the opposition 2. Rovers budget has enough coppers left for the brown envelope. I fear we would miss the penalty anyway.
  8. The Barnsley keeper and Ref are pie eaters. Seriously the Ref is a 9 bob note after giving that penalty. What for? I have watched it over and over in slomo to and there is nothing to give. Nothing. So why give it? TwoHat.
  9. And there is always one who messes up real bad. On the Easter theme - Lose today win Monday. Listen to the lyrics, think Easter, think Rovers. A feel good song. HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE
  10. Talk about luck and its got feck all to do with making your own luck. Wigan were given 3 goals gift wrapped. 2 by the Barnsley keeper doing a Steele impersonation and one by the Ref and that was a bad'un. It just so happens Powell was the Wigan player to take the last kick at the ball on each occassion. If it were possible for that sort of monumental good fortune to continue then Wigan would escape. It will not. To be fair the match stats favour Wigan and they had a lot of shots. I like Heckingbottom's post match comments about his players: "It's cost us the game, and the players concerned know about it. They know exactly what they've done wrong and if that happens they don't play."
  11. Indeed. I should have said 'so called' management
  12. This season with 2 managers supposedly experienced with life in the Championship we look odds on to go down bar a massive upsurge in our fortunes. If we are relegated and Mowbray goes I do not want Rovers taking on any manager who has not had at least L1 experience and some success. When we have been a training camp for wannabe managers it has not worked. However I would expect Rovers management to screw it up. I will start next season hoping to avoid another relegation. How sad is that ..... but that is who we now are.
  13. Fair comment. I did not factor in going for lower league. We will see sooner or later. However I'm not convinced that Rovers are the attraction we suppose anymore. Well not to anyone doing proper due diligence.
  14. Wegner can cancel his plan to come to Ewood then. Not easy to find any manager who's available and used to winning and who would be willing to risk his career. And come dirt cheap. A bit of a pipe dream sadly.
  15. He was ages on trial trying to get fit even before they announced his signing as a player. An odd one for sure.
  16. Yes that's my view too. Too much youth in L1 is suicide.
  17. As someone posted earlier we can always wheel out Brown
  18. My thoughts exactly. Someone like Morrison who could play a bit but would protect youth players just by his presence. Another Moran or a Keeley is needed.
  19. A good leader kicked everybody including some team mates. Dont make many like him these days. Edit: completely forgot that he was with us for a short spell
  20. A good moment to remember that the bottom 4 in the Third Division are all automatically relegated. I also suspect that our better U23s have a good chance of being sold. You need at least a couple of 'hard men' in L1 or youth would be kicked off the pitch. They still allow tackles in the lower leagues.
  21. Dunn is the next manager in waiting when TM is chopped or walks. A simple step up from being one of the assistants and a Rovers recent legend as the fan clincher. Also cheap. It all fits the V model.
  22. I think that TM is saying that the previous coaching the players received has not drilled into them the basics of what to do in any given situation or that they as a group have failed to take it on board. It is also an admission I think that his input to date has been largely ineffectual with the players he's got. Or maybe this is the Mowbray way of giving the players a kick up the backside...by publicly saying they are not very good. I wonder how that will go down with the players. I found his words as quoted very depressing.
