FIFATV on Youtube have a short film on Pele's WC career. Found it by accident yesterday. Immensely enjoyable.
-
A really exciting game and pleased Messi will have more game(s) at this WC. His goal a joy to watch.

I think it's just to break up the lack of kit news, which reminds me of a client I had called Richard Head, and so it proved.
-
I was not aware of this reaction on the oddly named "social media". Sad to see.
-
It also often relies on an opposition player cracking under pressure. Case in point the idiot who made the needless foul to set up Kroos. Essentially I agree with your points though.
-
I also think we deliberately slowed down our game even more and played, rather badly, keepy keepy across the back to avoid tackles and confrontation with Panama, some of whose players had lost the plot in the first half. Not the sort of game for Loftus Cheek to show what he can do nor for Sterling to shown if he can do it in an England shirt. We panned the Panamanians and could have doubled our score if we had bothered. Full marks to Maguire for his self control.

VAR may have a word or two to say about that old acorn.

The Germans got lucky. They are a shadow of the sides of previous years. The Swedes should have canned them first half. As soon as the Swedes conceeded the late free kick I knew the Germans would spawn it.

Home strip for England tomorrow

Midweek away followings will be decimated for games involving long and expensive travel. Maybe home support too.....

True. I fear that Derby do well and we get a season long Lampard fest. Quite like him as a pundit -
Rovers Fixtures 2018-19

I went on the BBC Rovers web page to look for our full fixture list to be met by headlines ..... Lampard, Lambard........ It will be a very long Lampard season. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/teams/blackburn-rovers -
A wonderful break from the WC football. Maybe Willey and Plunkett should also have moved up the order to go for 500. Lol being a bit greedy there and unfair to Root.

Although from an offside pass this miss is the one that I keep coming back to. A great move, great pass and then good anticipation by Sterling to be in the right place followed by complete brain fade and Sterling looked like someone who had never played football before. The pass screamed hit me please. Apart from Harry our scoring attempts never recovered from that. And then the silly sod gave a big grin.

The realisation that you are on the receiving end of brown envelope induced Ref & VAR decisions has an effect. Bent as 9 Bob notes.
-
Some of the Refs decisions against us were disturbingly bad or just plain dodgy. Collina needs to come out and clarify why under the eyes of VAR wrestling is ok by players during a game. Tunisia challenged the Ref on every single decision he gave against them. I hope they go home pointless. England play quite well first half but did not cope with Tunisia going even more defensive second half. Having said that we should have had the game won by half time. Too many chances missed.

Yes, send him to City and then sell/loan at PL prices is the model.

A bit to my suprise I am enjoying this WC thanks to dodgytv and youtube for later highlights. Mainly from UK tv but also some from Sony Ten India who have a studio host who just has to be related to John Inman with a very uncomfortable looking Wes Brown as the embarassingly poor main pundit. Also listening to the daily BBC WC podcasts and the excellent Chris Sutton. Sadly the donkey called Murphy is sometimes on, today he described himself as "a fan of Liverpool, Fulham and England", I do appreciate that.

Perhaps discussing the benefits of VAR or comparing Vodka brands for the next shipment. Infantile looked somewhat perplexed.

Gordon is a very remote possibility but Abbey? Never ever. If blueboy then, sadly, some humour was cut away too.
-
Is Ladyboy a post op blueboy? News of a new signing will save this thread and hopefully soon. Over to you TM

I suggest that shows who are the dominant force in Spanish football, a Government sponsored Club who operate in a separate world of finance and tax concessions ably supported by UEFA/FIFA and not the National side. Strangely though it may galvanise the non RM players within the Spanish team but marginalise the demi-Gods such as Ronaldo and the fascist thug Ramos. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

You can post links plus comments in this thread. JB's guidance notes in the Links Only thread are quite clear. Some on here should read more, post less or at least keep up to speed.

Thanks for the heads up and now listening via BBC iPlayer Radio.
