I know for a fact that some guys in one of the protest groups did a lot of research on this a few years ago. One actually spoke to a couple of Kentaro people, referenced on Suhail's profile. The research confirmed that Suhail Shaikh is a former Kentaro employee. One Kentaro employee described Suhail as a "Kentaro fixer.".Another ex Kentaro employee had placed a review on his Linkedin. Suhail's own profile said he was"responsible for the successful acquisition of BRFC by Venky's"" Remember that the football authorities "knew" Kentaro was running the club-against F.A. rules and turned a blind eye.. Now Suhail Shaikh has come out of the shadows. ..and we are to believe he is "no longer" employed by the Kentaro people...( even if their original named company is now conveniently extinct)

From memory, I think we had beaten them 5-0 at home with that wonderful Tony Field solo goal. I know the run of form contained a Bournemouth away win, followed by a 1-0 away win at Port Vale. Following the Vale win, there was a piece in one of the national papers, where Gordon Lee (still Vale at the time) was lavish in his praise for Tony Field. I was still at school for the 3-1 Watford away win, which you might be remembering... Within a few short months Field had been sold and Gordon Lee was Rovers manager.
