i'm pretty hopefull about these signings this year, Souness certainly has proved he's still good in the transfer market, however I still think Souness is fighting a battle with himself over last season and lost allot of self confidence and this is resulting in consistently changing the team and formation and playing players out of position. Souness needs to get some stability badly. Souness certainly has the tools to do well now just hope he know how to use them, and some advice, Don't play Matteo in midfield.

not saying Souness should be sacked, but your theory, Harford got sacked in October and if he had not got sacked we would have gone down, like Souness he had a fairly good team but could not motivate players and got tactics badly wrong. Parkes came in a turned Blackburn into a good team again.
