  1. I just can't understand it he doesn't want to fight a relegation battle, and instead he would rather do this: he must be on drugs
  2. i amazed Birmingham didn't sign Ferguson, they normally buy our trash/flops
  3. the difference is, as Gold said, Savage was a A"GOD" in Birmingham, I think Ferguson was totally overrated and if you go though my posts (which i know you won't) you see many supporters thought the same. You have lost 5 games in a row without savage, thats already 12+ points, losing ferguson will not make much a difference, losing Todd would kill us.
  4. Feguson will always be remembered as 1) A flop in the Premier lerague, and 2) the captain of the worse ever Scotland team
  5. I hope it was insurance paying Ferguson's wages when he was injuried and not the supporters because if it was, well there's pretty much nothing I can do about it
  6. maybe some of you will now take off your blue and white glasses and see, he was not a very god player. But he will look good now in his pants league up north. he was never worth 6.5 million and we are lucky to get 5 million. but then still feel ripped off by Ferguson, stupid pussy. and he should have never been made captain, I was 95% certain he would leave within a year, but I thought it would be newcastle
  7. "He is wilfully trying to rip off the club (and therefore the paying fans) for millions of pounds. He deserves everything he gets" conspiracy theory
  8. dream on, whats there's 400 people on this board and going to be 20,000 people in the ground, so expect booing
  9. i don't think he should be captain personally, always felt that because I have always thought he was a little unhappy, but wouldn't be amazed if he has one of his best games of the season if he plays
  10. Thompson has good odds, might go for that
  11. Birmingham City and the fans don't give a crap, the whole issue in Birmingham will be Savage's pathetic excuse for leaving and now replacing him
  12. that would make MGP our top goal scorer in all competition excluding pens, and Stead has not even one goal, oh dear i'll go for 3-1 Thompson, Emerton and Gallagher and Davies for them
  13. decent signing, get a good two years out of him (touch wood)
  14. i always think its a CM or CB that should be the captain, plus is quality so will always be in the team for a long while, leads by example at last, its a bit like the Beackham situation, he was a bad boy and has turned things around. many other reasons, hes 30 yrs old is a good age, he's mature and experienced but also has a good three/four years in him. Plus I don't see any better options
  15. our best player is Todd, i'd like to see him captain
  16. Blackburn next move is very simple, reject the transfer request but also slap a "PRICE TAG", to ensure clubs know our approx fee for the player always start too high 8.5 million then see if Rangers come back with a 3 million offer
  17. So let's get this down in black and white. We pay them 7.5m Autumn(?) 2003 over installments, we have so far paid 5m for him. that just is shocking, I find it really hard to believe, it almost seems like a setup, "fergy will you go to Blackburn for a little while so we can rip them off" Have to say I was thinking about three days ago with Savage in the team ferguson could have some real competition for his place, but then he's captain and the fact he cost 7.5 million seems to get him a huge advantage over other players. With Savage in the team I would consider Thompson more creative and more a threat, but also Ferguson and savage together would have been good to see. nice to see a few more supporters admit fergy not been great at Blackburn, when a player does wrong the blue and white glasses just seem to fall off
  18. great point mate, i felt the same just wish i said it at the time, but when he came out saying he was happy, i put that to the back of my mind
  19. the true answer to that is yes
  20. Arrrrgggghhh ! Two different players entirely. How can Thompson - the original headless chicken - perform a holding role in midfield ? thought that was the point of signing Savage, for his tackling/battling ability, plus Ferguson recently has been playing in a midfield with Flitcroft, hardly call Ferguson a classic DM
  21. that's rubbish , I never went to scholl and i anit had iI dman ani
  22. Who's article is this, its class, all very true, just how I feel on the subject, certainly not wearing blue and white glasses like some people often do. hopefully most fans agree with it
  23. maybe he will sign for Everton, appartantly Savage gave Fergy his map a few days ago and according to the map Everton is far closer to Scotland then Blackburn anyway, its bad news, i don't think he is particalurly a top player and is overrated, but I would have liked to see if he could have picked up his game with Savage in the team.
  24. The BBC are reporting that Blackburn still owe £2.5m on the original transfer, meaning Rangers' insulting £3m is now only worth £500k to the club. Yet again, the Souness legacy bites us in the arse. yourt joking, i'd rather see him rot in the reserves, i doubt thats right, surely its 3 million including the money owe
