  1. I spoke to a Shef Wednesday fan hoping he would say in Div1 for them he was quality, he said he was a LUMP. I cetainly don't love him but don't hate him, i will feel allot better if we had a bit more competition up front I do think he put some of the worse displays i've ever seen though
  2. no, not sure could have been Sutton come to think of it, infact ithink Sutton, Larrson and Hartson played together, well i think the stats are about right anyway i stole them from another website.
  3. These are about right, ofcourse Hartson scored against Blackburn in Europe, that might not be included only league i think ok Hartson's stats: Appearances: 160 Goals: 105 Kuqi stats: Appearances: 110 Goals: 39
  4. really, i think next weeks lottery numbers are obvious
  5. problem i have is, how are we in a position to spend more then Bolton and they spend nothing. I can't see us getting 10 million, but we could risk £5 million and get a top top striker, when you have a player of Bemmamy's pace what i think we need is a Sutton type player as a target man. We could probably get a decent aging target man dead cheap(fee wise), or spend a few million to get a 27-28 year old target man, obviously missed out big time on Sutton for reasons i'm not sure about, but there has got to be someone else out there. I would think Hughes has an eye on Hartson as he's from Wales, would likely be free and a target man
  6. right now in my head i think thenodrog looks like this:
  7. I think O'Leary was worse with his "my players are so young" at Leeds
  8. sure he's pretty crap, but last season i was saying Stead should play more and Stead has now 0 goals was sold for £1.8 million and Kuqi has 5 goals and cost £0. so what do we expect for free, he's at least better then Stead, although he looks shocking at times, he has made a small impact. with a free striker and letting go some un-used players lets hope for a striker, but Hughes is not stupid
  9. not sure about him being crap but would say if we are playing against 10 men i probably would rather see Kugi, i think Kugi is sometimes truely shocking, and sometimes ok, but when it comes to working hard and trying to get chances, he's probably a better bet then Bently who barely ever has a shot on goal.
  10. yeah we can't really complain too much, he's done a half decent job in a few games, but when he's bad he's very bad, thats maybe why we need another top striker, but they don't grow on trees sadly
  11. i could live with Kuqi being a third/fouth striker on the bench mostly and coming, particularly against the poor teams, i'm still just so shocked at how bad his touch is, its amazing, and i'm sure when he goes for headers he closes his eyes, never know where the ball will go. a guy with that touch has done extremely well for himself, he obviously makes up for poor quality in effort and determination
  12. i have to say, Kuqi, maybe not all the time, but i think he's probably the worse player i've seen in a Blackburn shirt. I don't hate him at all, i respect him for his effort and success in this career but my god how did he become a footballer, Belamy in not a different class, a different world to Kuqi
  13. in Div 1 Souness had a midfield of Duff Dunn Flitcroft and Gilespie. i think he was given a good squad, not only that i think he built upon this squad with great signings like Berg, Neil, Cole. I think it all went down hill when Duff went, Jansen got injuried, Dunn got fatter and some bad signings like Amo etc but for a couple of years from 2000 to 2003, brilliant manager, then it all went wrong
  14. i've not really said anything about Kuqi but that was probably one of the most shocking performances i have ever seen yesterday, I though Diawara (spelt like that) was bad, but wow Kuqi was shocking, worst game by a mile, totally out his class. Nice bloke though, probably score next week, but thats how i saw it on Monday, sure he's better then that performance. on the other side of the coin for 33 years old Dickov was very good, very impressed
  15. its a reason why attendance has fallen i think, when my Dad went to see Blackburn play under 20k was not something that happened , but i didn't think it was so well known, i would have not liked to a be an Asian fan there supporting Wigan, rather nasty.
  16. good point though, he's probably earned sh111t loads on the last 4 years, still wish him good luck at a new club, real shame whats happened, such is life
  17. yeah seeing Sukurc play at Fulham was a great day to be a rovers fan, didn't do much else though. Bent was pretty good though, funny thing with Bent at every club he starts off on fire and fades badly.
  18. this is every fan from every cvlub in thwe whole world in a nutshell, i mean look at Man U, you will always gets fans complaining about something its the same everywhere
  19. Bently made some good runs!!, is that what it takes to be a striker for Blackburn these days, how about setting up some chances or having a decent shot on goal. I'm not sure how he gets in the team to be honest, he's very wasteful. maybe he was as cold as me Dickov did well, a shame Hughes put Bently with him as Bently was hardly in the game and poor old Dickov had a bit tooo much to do I though both team made allot of mistakes and Fulham got a bit lucky negative: Bentley long way off a good player, better off at Burnley Positive: probably Dickov, but then he only had one shot at target, everyone else was just worse. Gray, Tugay did ok
  20. they, no "he" Dailly was sh1t, do people remember him, probably the worse signing in Rovers history making a prat of himself 7 years later. if i never seen Woy around, its lucky that guy didn't finish us off
  21. never rated players before but have to this time Freidel-7 Reid-5 neill-7 Zurab-6 Gray-6 Emerton-6 Savage-8 Tugay-6 Pedersen-7 AXE-7 Bentley-6 Dickov-8 kuqi-7 Dailly 10 ******STAR MAN****************
  22. yeah that is sad, i think alot of people have a right to dislike him due to the silly things he did. although i do think alcoholic's are people with a disease and Best tried very hard in later life to give booze up, so he was a vitcim of his own success.
  23. actually allot of people think he was a waste of talent, i'm not saying i do, so if he was given a gift, he abused it i'll remember Best, best for saying on live TV "I like to screw", that kind of sums up his attitude i have a couple of friends from uni who said they saw him p1ssed out his mind down the local every Wednesday
