  1. As far as i know M-K there is specific hardware that works better than others with the OSX set up, but pretty much any expensive pc can run this, i would love to try it but i fear i will mess it up, gonna wait till my friend gives it a try first lol
  2. there have already been several accounts of ppl running tiger on ordinary pc's using this software OSX 86 or something. http://www.uneasysilence.com/os-x-proven-h...an-ordinary-pc/ it works like an emulator but apparently runs very smooth on higher end pcs. the OS is derived and cracked from the developers version currently being used to work with the new intel chips. this is good news, I look forward to running a dual boot on my machine with both windows and mac os.
  3. Has anyone played with the mac mini or does anyone have one? I am interested to know how it handles games etc.
  4. I think it looks great but I've never played it. If it does not have real teams as some people have mentioned than im not too interested in purchasing it as long as there is fifa soccer.
  5. the internet connection keeps cutting off, and it won't let me update sound drivers. i don't know how you managed to break the Aero but im not surprised.
  6. In order to please all tastes I suggest the Beatles...everybody likes their music. How about Helter Skelter? Just as Paul goes "yeah yeah yeah" the Rovers can run out onto the pitch and the fans can all yell "Helter Skelter"
  7. I think playing that foo fighters song would be as 'non wussy' as playing Poison - Every Rose Has It's Thorn.
  8. I take back everything I said. After playing around with Vista for the night I've decided I absolutely despise it as it is repackaged XP. I think I am going to buy an Imac G5 and keep my old pc for applications (its still pretty fast). I am not a huge fan of apple but at the moment I seem to hate tiger os and apple less than vista and microsoft.
  9. Well it runs faster than XP because it uses hardware to draw the graphics for everything instead of software rendering, this also allows for cool transparent windows and glass like textures. The search looks exciting, better than Apple Search and Google desktop search. I'm also liking the fact that they have psudeo folders like in 'inux systems. It's going to be shipped with anti-spyware software too. Looking on the net today I see that someone has already cracked the Genuine advantage key too.. http://www.boingboing.net/2005/07/28/micro...genuine_ad.html so i guess its not all that secure still but c'mon it's still better than using an Apple Computer, or Linux for that matter, at least I can run my required software.
  10. Has anyone taken a look at the new Windows OS set to replace XP? I personally think it looks really nice and I'm excited to use some of the new features, apparently it runs faster too. there are some screenshots and a nice review on this site Windows Supersite
  11. does anybody have pictures of the old stadium with the large capacity? I think they would be interesting to see.
  12. I cannot wait to get my Blackburn shirt with Bellamy on the back! and I'm gonna save up some money for the flight over there to watch Rovers play sometime next year! I am so happy that they signed Bellamy, some exciting football to come. If the defense can keep tight like last year Bellamy might provide some answers to scoring goals and the Rovers winning those close games! I'm r'over the moon!
  13. I think one of the major reasons teams see us as "bad-boys" is because they didn't play so well against us last season. If you over-exagerate any teams fouls and cards they will become bad-boys, but more so if a mid table team is giving chelsea and aresenal a run for their money (some of the time that is, ignore the 4 - 0 defeats).
  14. Since Alan Shearer! Oh and I guess since my father watches them also but that doesn't count.
  15. Finally im up there with the elitists...but on a more serious note I think this is a good idea, and I enjoy the look of the website, keep up the good work sounds like there is some exciting stuff coming out of it.
  16. What bothers me about Amo is that he is so good in Fifa that I can't not play him ahead of the reulars in real life....but getting back to the topic seriously I think he is getting old and has lost his position to the likes of Nelson and Moekena. Even if Matteo and Nissa were to both go I would rather give Gresko a chance ahead of him.
  17. Arsenal 3 - Rovers 0 Andy Todd 1 - Van Persie 0 He really needs to improve upon his celebrations, last time it was some pose beyond goal, this time he runs straight into a shoulder... Disspointing outcome, but I'm happy to see that Rovers made it this far...good run, excellent job....time to focus on whats more important though and thats the prem.
  18. I believe Arsenal to be the most sensitive football team in the Prem, if not the world....In terms of players being in touch with their feminie sides (in the traditional sense of the phrase) Aresenal win hands down. I've seen players mysteriously injured by air or what is believed to be invisible phenomena on the pitch before, however, these special cricumstances usually only usual apply to a select few; not the whole team. If Viera got off his ass and started playing football he might not be so frustrated with lying on the grass all the time! I know it hurts to get kicked in the leg, but I also know that crying to your mommmy on the floor of Millennium stadium in Cardiff isn't going to help... End rant... Blackburn will come back with a early sub of Emerton and a late replacement of Thompson seeing the long awaited return of Savage.... Overtime victory 2 - 1 Rovers!
  19. Im confident with the Rovers ability to win these days....though not overly confident (thats always bad). Rovers 1 - Arse'ols 0
  20. How about some good spring songs... Beatles - here comes the sun (i know its very predictable for me to chose this but its just so fitting) Stereophonics - Have a nice day Pearl Jam - Yellow ledbetter ( maybe more of a summer song, nonetheless i like listening to it in spring) Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Scartissue Sam Roberts - Brother down The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony and... Stone Roses - She Bangs the drums
  21. I think Souness has got Newcastle on a good run. They are in the semis in the FA, playing well in International football, and with all due respect are improving their performances in the Prem. If they don't give him the summer and next season to work with then they are kicking themselves.
  22. I want Emerton to start starting again, Thompson had some pretty terrible plays when he got the ball, he is consistantly kicking it out of bounds! Reid played well, as did Pedersen. Dickov did alright, but having the one striker up front wont cut it for this offensively struggling side. Savage is desperately needed back to get rid of this formation. Having said all that, Blackburn played very well, and I'm not upset with the outcome today, although Im freakin' tired from waking up at 7am to watch it.
  23. The new Stereophonics album is good. I like Dakota, Lolita, and Rewind the best off it.
