Good performance by the players, I am so happy they won that one even though there was a few close calls by Villa. Kudos to all that attended the game too, there was an amazing atmosphere it felt like as I watched it on Fox....drummer and all.

How about this... Set up a charter bus that leaves from Preston to Ewood park and its a free ride there and back with the purchase of a season ticket... Do the same for Accy...leave Burnley out of it. This seems like a good idea though, and people will spend all their money on beer knowing theydon't have to drive home after.

I've actually never seen him play, and I tried to find a google video of him but couldn't. I know there is a lot of hype around him, I've seen him on day time talkshows (which is the epitome of success!!! ). I will hold off any serious thoughts until I've seen what he can do but it seems like he is just a poster boy for American soccer and the MLS. They needed a superstar to attract fans and get people interested...this is just my speculation though, he might be amazing still.

Please let the next Ronaldhino be in the Rovers academy. I agree, it's a great academy and in my opinion one of the best in the prem. Totally worth it.

Blackburn needs to define their image. Reach out and steal fans hanging on the fence as to which team they want to support. To do this I propose hypnosis. It's really quite simple, you see, they can buy up commercial spots and play what appears to be a normal ad, when instead its sending subliminal messages like "buy rovers season tickets" or "you like Blackburn Rovers, Burnley is crap" etc.

Emerton played well against Man U last Wednesday. Maybe he just isn't a starter, should bring him on as a sub from now on in (which is what Hughes is doing most of the time).

Blackburn must stick to a 442 formation, stand up against them like Everton did. Maybe even play around with that Everton defensive trick of leaving the midfield more open and protect the area around the box. Seemed to work as they couldn't get the ball past them into the zone. If the team is confident and plays like they did against man u I think they've a good change for more than just a tie. No matter whos on the team it's still a sport, there is still a chance, and I more confident than ever in Blackburn's side! I will be tired next Saturday morning but I am not going to miss this game!

I loved the game today! great performance, had to get up super early for a Saturday (7:30) to watch it and it was well worth it. Dissapointed a little with the attendance but all in all a good 3 points.

The ref was appauling in this game and should be suspended for not doing his job properly. What it comes down to is poor judgement...Zurab should have been given a yellow card and there should have been either a penalty kick or free kick just outside the box. Rovers need to stop getting so many cards, especially Savage, I like how he has his heart in the game but it's unneccessary to get so many yellows. On a more positive note, our defense was holding up pretty well, mind you it was only liverpool, an overrated team with pipe dreams.

Kuqi scores and i cannot see the celebration because it wasn't televised. I guess I should purchase the rovers world subscription. Anyways I cannot wait for the EPL review this saturday.

I think this is the wrong forum to be bashing BRFC supporters, as the ones who take the time to post and read the posts on this site are more likely to be dedicated fans and thus go to a few games a year. The problem with Blackburn is simple, there just isn't enough supporters to fill the stadium game after game. I'm sure a good percentage of the fans go to at least one or two games a year, and i don't consider non-season ticket holders to be 'part-time' fans. Football has become expensive, catching a few games a year is sometimes all that is fesable. Having said that, I dont' live in England so I'll be the first to admit that I might be full of it. Furthermore, I was going to comment on their marketing schemes but then again I also don't know. To sell out crowds you need hype, I thought Bellamy was going to provide that but I was wrong.

I dont' think i'll be able to watch Rovers play this week as its not on any of the usual stations here (even the ones i pay extra for so that i might get the chance of seeing them) but I have a good feeling about the game. Rovers 2 - 1 Newcastle Owen will pick up a break-away past our defense early on but Pederson and Kuqi will come back with 2 for us. Now if only I could find some Russian oil fields I would get Rovers a their own TV station.

Watched the game today, I must say the first half was terrible for both sides, but Rovers dominated the second half. I am really liking David Bentely, he put some really nice crosses into the box for Kuqi and others. Excited to see whats going to come from him in the future.
