Well it looks like United will join Arsenal in semis. What odds on the "draw" keeping them apart to allow them to meet in the final? One question,what if United and Arsenal meet in the final and both have gone to the Champs League through the Premiership.Who gets the UEFA Cup spot?

Everyone seems to be looking too far ahead,myself included. There is almost a sense of inevitability that we might lose, or at least draw and lose in the replay.

The best two teams in world football right now put on one hell of a show. Credit to Rijkaard and Barca to pick themselves up from 3-0 down as it could easily have gone to 5-0 at that point. Chelsea a little lucky to score the winner at the time,but well deserved. This Chelsea side today with pretty much the same players as last year is miles stronger and more tactically advanced than last years. TERRY,CARVALHO and LAMPARD were brilliant.

If Johansson leaves we need a left back. Id get one center back to replace both of Short and Amoruso as that would mean we would have 4 center backs. Id get one central midfielder and two strikers especially if Tugay leaves and Jansen too.

Great performance. We started to look better as the second half went on,cause in the early 10 minutes they had us under immense pressure. Cant say we deserved anything less! Reid was great in the middle.But a big shout to Flitcroft who has been great under Sparky. I was just telling myself come on Stead,what has happened to you,when he scored that beauty!haha He looked 1000 times more confident after the goal.Now another goal in his next game and he will be on his way. A big bonus win today,should allow us to "lose" to Arsenal,Liverpool,United and Chelsea,probably!

Hmm, 3 wins will be pushing it a bit, and keeping us holding our breaths. 4 should guarantee survival,unless Soton and Palace go on two crazy runs.

If we get 4 points off those 4 games,it would be brilliant! Otherwise we will be in trouble. But it will be the last 7 games that will decide our fate. Id say we need 12 more points to stay up. On current form,we will stay up.But sometimes one team gets sucked back into it.

Damn it, But it was only a matter of time.Soton finally winning,and Palace continue to pick up points. After our two games with Everton and Pool,we could find ourself in a precarious position. One win right now would be brilliant.I cant see it at Anfield.Lets pray tomorrow we reach 31 points.

The thought of him being taken away from us after the sour episodewith Duff is sickening. This guy can be really really big. Come on MGP!!! Lets hope he has a few more goals to score this season both in the FA Cup and League.

phillipl, i thought that this was the greatest match ups at this stage ever in the champs league too. chelsea were favorites when their draw was made,but injuries to duffer and robben makes barca favorites for me,at least for tonights leg. i fancy arsenal and liverpool to make it through. united will find it difficult,in a close close match.

Thank God our fans are sensible. Any other answer would have been crazy.Staying in the top flight is by far the most important thing for any club.

MGP thinks we are a good club who play who good football. Seems he is happy here. But players say the darnest things,Ferguson boasted about how settled he was right after the Fulham game and look what happened. MGP happy with improvement

Great win,I wouldnt call it a great performance cause Norwich were a first division side today.We performed extremely well though.On a different day against a better team,I fear we wouldnt have scored a goal though despite our good play. MGP was brilliant especially in the first half,Tugay deserves a shout,Savage again was great,Barry who?Nelsons sliding tackles are becoming a bit of a trademark!Great free transfer he was! Thats a bit of breathing space with Norwich. Now if we pick up a couple of points from the tough run we have coming up,we will be really happy!

Im gonna be watching the game with a 2 hour delay,basically as soon as its over,its on TV here in Dubai,and its my birthday tomorrow,so Im hoping for a present.3 or 4 goals for our strikers would do me.

Its a vicious cycle. SPL is poor quality so why should anyone invest money?Whose gonna watch the that league. So people in San Marino complain that the Serie A got money from TV?

Anyone who thinks Todd was reliable,I thought he was crap today.Nelsen made up for all the other three defenders POOR performances yesterday. MGP,why isnt he running at anyone?His passing and vision seems good,but he isnt taking on defenders.Then again it took Emerton 18 months to take on people and he still sucks at it. Emerton is disappointing me so so much. Bring back Stead,keep the faith,cause 5'5 up front and another tiny back-up on the bench doesnt do much on its own!

Its not yet at the desperation stage of last season,but a defeat against Norwich would mean we would be 1 or 2 points off relegation only. A win would be a gigantic result,but who will score for us? I like many others agree that Stead is our best hope,his confidence is low,but he is our only striker capable of some magic,and can play a 4-5-1,not that I like that damned formation. DROP THOMMO,bring in Stead,bring back Tugay for Mokoena and play a 4-4-2. BTW,Emerton was rubbish yet again.

I agree Phillipl. Cant see us getting wins against those 6-8th place perrenial teams like Boro,Spurs,Villa,etc...

Its really hard to play that well and yet get nothing from the game.Luckily all our rivals on the night also lost.Effectively we played with 10 men,cause Thommo didnt do anything right. Other than poor performances from Thommo and Emo,I have to say that our strikeforce (one man albeit) is not sharp enough to win us games.We need goals and where will we get them? Dickovs workrate deserved an 11,he held off JT the whole game very very well.Unfortunately you cant miss a penalty against Chelsea and expect to also take something from the game.I dont think any team really took the game to Chelsea all season as we did.We really didnt let them play and also posed a big big threat all through the match. Unfortunately our attack was toothless. It will be a problem against other teams. Im still positive that 4 more wins should gain safety,5 would GUARANTEE IT. Also I can sympathize with JOSE about our tactics in terms of aggresiveness,but if he was fair he would also COMMEND us taking the whole game to Chelsea from start to finish.Unfair criticism that we didnt come to play football but just wanted to rough them up.We were the only side playing football. Also,I think Arjen Robben is far more important to Chelsea than one may realize!

Team played very well,pressing,pushing,trying till the death. Some players were disappointing Emerton,Thommo were both poor.MGP showed why he is a great player for us,especially in the first half,where his passes opened up their defence many times.He faded out in the second half,especially on the right. Matteo was average by his low standards!Neill was also average if not poor.Friedel has let us down in this game. The problem is the players played to their potential,but whether its Chelsea,Scunthorpe or whoever,we just DONT LOOK LIKE SCORING!

Should we bother playing with our first choice players or give them a rest?
