  1. After all the fuss and the millions of £ spent, where is he? I know he's only 17 or 18, but for £14m or so, you'd expect him to be in the team like Leo Messi is at Barca, despite all the talent at Stamford Bridge.
  2. HUGHES OUT !!! (I don't mean it, but I wanted to be the first to say it)
  3. I'd like Gomaa (if Nelsen is truely screwed), a creative midfielder and Warnock. Bridge won't come sadly. Then maybe a striker.
  4. Yeah, but you didn't score any goals. So you were equally average. Just in a different way.
  5. Or Martin Jol,. I can see him playing on it know.......... "Oh yesh, I think I'll buy another midfielder, we only have 30. Now who is playing for Blackburn now. I'll just talk to The Sun................."
  6. True, but as Ed Byrne pointed out, most of the song doesn't mention ironic situations.
  7. OK then. Still doesn't sound 'right' to me. Mind you I also hate the words 'moreish' and 'gazump'. Anyway, throw the Spurs fan down the well so my Rovers can be free!
  8. Please don't use the 'word' ironical. I'm not sure it is even a word, but it sounds wrong. It might be a word though.
  9. Koumas could be good, but he'd have to pull his thumb out of his arse and make more of an effort to fulufill his potential.
  10. At least the result was better than the last few games.
  11. Maybe this Gomaa chap will replace Todd in the squad. Although I do hope that a youngster is ready to come in. Anyway, it seems that the refs have decided to give dodgy penalties against us every other game. Are they all Burnley fans? If it was Chelsea or Arsenal we'd not hear the end of it from Wenger and Mourinho.
  12. Indeed, the efforts in research and detail would probably put many PhDs to shame!
  13. Six months contract on a pay-as-you-play basis, with the possibility of say a 2 year extension with pay on a weekly basis. Then, if he is constantly injured this season, we don't suffer wasted wages and we can dump him in May, and if he doesn't get injured he can earn a half decent contract.
  14. --> QUOTE(Ste B @ Nov 13 2006, 11:12 ) 459610[/snapback] Steven Seagal is playing blues at King Georges in March. CLICK HERE Now that really is something I didn't expect to read. Oh and Muse were great at the NEC on Wednesday.
  15. Well there's no point him coming here if he wants to play for England. Can't see it happening, as his wages are too expensive, and he's too glamourous for us. If anywhere, I'd say the MLS, Villa or Spuds would get him. Still, you never know............
  16. Maybe we should put in a cheeky bid................................... .........................or maybe not
  17. Indeed, our finances are tight, and it's only spoons like Boro and the barcodes that can chuck £3-4m at a player and take such a risk.
  18. Makes you wonder why they are getting twitchy doesn't it?
  19. Maybe The Riverside stand is to be developed into a hotel/stand complex after all.
  20. Whilst it may be good to get one over Burnley, is he good enough to play for us?
  21. Do they play Futsal at the Academy. I am by no means an expert, but it is said that it helps the Brazilians dvelop their flair and control of the ball. Just an idea. Mind you since Italy are world champions, I guess we should start coach our players in diving, offering bribes and geneal gamesmanship.
