  1. I'd like Wayne Bridge myself, but we probably don't have the £3-5m to buy him right now.
  2. Don't know if he's any good, but former Everton player Michael Ball wants to leave PSV apparently.
  3. Sell him. I can't be bothered to hear about him moving any more. If it is to a Liverpool or Barca, then fair enough, but if he goes to Spuds, or the Barcodes then we know he and his agent are greedy fools chasing the money.
  4. Do a petition, perhaps at a game, and give it to the club.
  5. When it comes to people who quite happily abuse people for no reason, who are so utterly vile and cretinous that they have to concentrate to breathe, I take the Stalinist line: Every person has a problem. No person, no problem. I have had yahoos like that shout abuse at me, assault me and wind me up for many years because I'm not one of 'them'. I'm sick of those people who are only genetically human making life a misery for others and associating themselves with things I like (e.g. Blackburn Rovers). I'm bored of being reminded of how pathetic and futile my species is.
  6. Find them, and warn them if they do it again, they'll be put in hospital. And put them in hospital if carry on. It's the only language some understand. Such horrible people have no right to exist in my opinion.
  7. Is this the Bolton that was recently in the UEFA Cup, and Wigan who are in the Premiership?
  8. Just one of those games. Let's win the next few, and forget it.
  9. Is it better than the EA Cricket series? I've had a nightmare trying to buy BL Cricket since I broke the Me3ga Drive cartridge, as my PS game didn't work, and the PC version was not XP compatible (it was a few years ago).
  10. I'll wait a bit until I buy it then. The later versions are usually refined, and bugs are ironed out.
  11. Can you provide a link for this £17 offer please? Making Burnley and Real Madrid into our feeder clubs does sound tempting.
  12. For a footballer that's impressive. Much better than me, but I have seemed to get better the higher I went.
  13. It's annoying. I'd like to buy FM 2007, but I haven't really got my teeth into FM 2005 after all this time. So if I got the new version, FM 2005 would have been a waste of money.
  14. Clever footballers (and managers) 1. Arsene Wenger: Speaks 5 languages, and has an economics degree 2. Oliver Bierhoff: Has an economics degree 3. Kasey Keller: Has a Sociology degree
  15. Coventry isn't that bad on the whole. Sure, Wood End is an absolute dump, and Hillfields can be scary, but there are nice parts like Earlsdon. The city centre is slowly being done up, as they remove the drab modernist lumps. However, I know that Aston is a craphole from seeing Rovers play Villa a couple of times, and going through it to the Thinktank place as part of my post grad course.
  16. Are we loaning Big Club Mokoena then?
  17. There's an article in the mirror today which has Keane saying his romantic dinner with his wife was ruined because he couldn't stop thinking about Nyrom Nosworthy ! Now before you start thinking this sounds like it should be in the NOTW, he was refering to the ineptitude of his defence against Preston. Sounds like it's good not to be a Sunderland defender at the moment.
  18. Wasn't Taylor the one who handballed in the box, and then literally went down like he had been shot by a sniper? That really made me laugh when I saw it .
  19. I don't like Newcastle because they seem to use the media to unsettle our best players. Tugay, Neill, Duff and a few others have been linked over the years to join Shearer and Given at the rejects. And who have we got of them? Darren Peacock.
  20. Dhorasso could plug a gap in the squad, and then we should buy a younger creative midfielder in Janurary or in the summer.
  21. Are England 1-0 down? Oh, yes they are. Good, hopefully they'll lose a few more, McClaren will be sacked, and the FA will appoint a decent manager instead of a brown-noser.
  22. Or Juve or so it may seem.
  23. Or you could look at it like this: a club with debts of around £80m, fans who want you to resign as soon as you lose two games in a row, a board and a fanbase that believe they have a divine right to trophies, a board who are quick to sack a manager and a shocking defence and strikeforce.
  24. Whilst I don't begrudge Neill for having ambitions to play for a club that challenges for titles and so on, but his constant contact with the media is very annoying. All he is doing is making himself look a bit arrogant, and that he doesn't give a monkey's about his current club. I wish he said his bit at the beginning of the season, and left it at that. Anyway, who'll replace him? Can anyone think of a decent young player in the lower leagues, or at Dymamo Turnip that can develop into a star? Can McEverley or Taylor make the step up?
