Glad I'm not the only one who thinks Mark Lamarr is a completely unamusing ____ who loves the sound of his own voice. Started watching it now Simon Amstell took over. I like him. -
That Last King of Scotland looks good. I'll go and see it sometime. The last film I saw in the cinema was Jackass, so you can guess that I don't go often.

Is it worth me upgrading from FM 2006? And can you save the patches onto a disc/memory stick/CD ? I don't want to load it onto this computer. -

Too much of a risk at £2m. £750,000-1,00,000 would be tempting though. -

If it's a pay-as-you-play deal, and the fee is around £500,000 I'd approve. -

I think Crespo was unlucky. Mourinho wasted him, and he was much better than Dogbrush at that time. -

I know I'm being too early, but I think we'll still be in the battle to stay up until at least March if we don't pull off some good signings in Janurary. There is no composure in the team, and no exciting youth coming through. God it'll be a long horrible season. Come Walker Trust chuck us a £6-10m to strengthen the squad! -
I made sense? That's a first. Friedel should be captain anyway. Or maybe Savage.

Just shows how the lower leagues, and 20-23 year old players from the big 4 who were kicked out can be a good hunting ground. So let's turn some more scouts to winkle out some bargains. Not every good young player has a potential £15m price tag like Walcott or Bale. -

I thought this was one of those sex scandals when I first saw the title. -
Alan Ball is having an affair? Or maybe it's Andy Bell going straight

He wants a new challenge, which is fair enough. Wish he would stay, but he doesn't. It's isn't like Baby Le Saux, who scweamed and scweamed until he was sick so stop the booing.

We'd need a millionaire/billionaire who just wants to have a lot of fun and take a team to new heights for pleasure. Someone like Jack Walker, but I doubt there are many other Blackburn fans worth £500m+. So that would leave someone like Abrahmovich who is doing it with Chelsea because he can. How much money does Wayne Hemmingway have?! What would be terrible is if we end up with someone who'll put loads of money in, and then get bored really quickly and leave us in the lurch, some dodgy Russian who may end up poisoned/asset stripped by the Kremlin, or a complete nutter like Mr. Romanov at Hearts. If I make £100m+ I'll buy the club. -

Maybe the Big Sam approach of signing a few old players and people who have gotten into a bit of a rut will be our future. Although hopefully without Mark Hughes' son as an agent! If the right recruits come along it may be OK. I think we'll survive, but will be a team that mills about the 10-17th place with the odd cup run. At least it is better than 20+ years ago I suppose. -

The guy did nowt in the Champions League, and was as effective as Stuart Ripley in the Italian team. He is only good in Italy, and is amazingly over rated because of his nationality and looks. He's Italy's answer to John Barnes. -
Would new coaching staff help? I sort of agree with the view that kids can be spoilt with all the whizzy facilities, and not develop that fight to be the best and earn the right to train like a 1st team pro. I personally think they just just have fun until they're about 13, and then tactics and so on should be introduced.

The Academy system was not around when Beckham and co. were playing. It was some other system.

1-0 with substitute Gallagher to pick the ball up and throw it into the net. -
Find Africans and put tghem in Cercle Brugge until the work permit is sorted. And dump the youth team coach for Simon Clifford.
