  1. Teddy Bear Tony only dunks his biccies in the cups - never throws them.
  2. Agreed. Look at Grabban last week - like chalk and cheese with our lot, save for a younger Graham. Keeps coming back time and again to that money wasted by Mowbray on two dollopers.
  3. You can lay the blame at about 7 players’ doors for the first one, but proof if any more was needed that Tosin is a million miles away from the City side.
  4. Because he's just as guff! Outside of a 35 year old Graham, who is close to being taken to the knackered yard, the other options are frighteningly bad.
  5. Probably been said, so apologies, but another sign of an awful manager - one who can never win against ten men. Time and time again, we just do not take advantage. Infuriating.
  6. Can only hope the V’s saw the performances of the £12 million men and burn TM at the stake for it.
  7. This aged well. To be fair that’s the only thing Gallagher’s done for months.
  8. If I were Blingy I’d be straight on the blower to TM at FT giving him his marching orders for the signings of Brereton and Gallagher alone. Absolute horse sh*te.
  9. The ‘defending’ for their goal wouldn’t have looked out of place in an under 7s game. As for the ‘finishing’ by our £15 million men. Jesus wept.
  10. Very likely either Brereton or Gallagher out wide it is then. Brilliant.
  11. Yes he shouldn’t be shunted out wide now and again - I’m confident TM is the only man in world football who things a gangly 6’4 lad would make a good winger. However, whenever he’s played up top he’s been just nearly as useless. Doesn’t score, can’t attack a ball, doesn’t peel off defenders shoulders, not that great at holding it up. Another £5 million down the swanny.
  12. Lenihan will have been sold on for a few pennies by then, Nyambe potentially too.
  13. Agreed he’s not up to it long term either, but think he’s a ‘safer’ pair of hands than Walton.
  14. Give the Canadian a run out tomorrow. I’ve seen enough of bean stalk man to know he’ll never make a half decent keeper.
  15. So Chaddy are you still happy to be reliant on Gallagher as our main man up top to bag the goals needed?
  16. See in another latest interview he has said there won’t be many changes for tomorrow’s game. Mowbray logic - make 4-7 changes per match for 5 league games in a row, then keep a very similar lineup for a Cup game. Edit: here’s the interview: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18135929.mowbray-outlines-rovers-selection-plans-fa-cup-tie/
  17. Blimey - Boro have signed Roberts, Nmecha and possibly Clarke? Another club that will be above us imminently.
  18. Firstly, funny how there’s no dig towards Gally/Brereton here, and secondly, stop playing strikers out wide. Wingers playing out wide, might just contribute funnily enough. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18133863.mowbrays-challenge-rovers-winger-first-team-return/
  19. @SportsPeteO: Luton, Wigan and Blackburn Rovers are chasing a move for Sheffield United defender Ben Heneghan this month. #LTFC #wafc #Rovers #sufc #twitterblades #bfc Hopefully the 3 club rule, rules us out. If not, good to see our scouts have been chasing new talent for the past two years.
  20. Yep - then to back it up with £5m down the drain on Gallagher. Simply not good enough whichever way anyone coats it. Wouldn’t trust the bloke with another penny.
  21. If true, Deadly Del and Lenihan (if either can stay fit) for the remainder of the season. Gulp.
  22. Who would’ve thought that 4-7 changes per match would breed inconsistency?
  23. Sssshhh. He’s tactically astute splashing £12 million on two terrible strikers who he plays out wide.
