  1. It’s just so fecking frustrating knowing under Mowbray that if we concede first, 9 times out of 10 (possibly more to be fair) we lose the game. I know, I know I shouldn’t be too critical of the bloke given the season we’ve had to date, but he simply cannot work out how to turn matches around. It’s a fact.
  2. So so deflated tonight. I just have this feeling we’re going to nosedive a little.
  3. Get in!!! Now get Buckley off FFS so the ref doesn’t look to level things up.
  4. Yep. You can’t be losing to the likes of Hull and Swansea if you’re serious about promotion. It’s just so ominous for us whenever we concede the first goal. Firstly we don’t have anywhere enough goals in this side and secondly, we’re terrible at coming back from behind.
  5. No, us. And that’s usually a very bad thing!
  6. Highlights why we needed a striker to come in during January. So difficult seeing where the goals are coming from there.
  7. Bit of a strange way to look at it. They both still need to win those matches. Win today and it puts even more pressure on them too. COYB, huge game today. Got be taking the 3 points home.
  8. For someone very naive around Vale…he went on loan…and it didn’t work. Why not? Is he almost ready at Rovers?
  9. I’ll obviously be supporting Joe Rothwell in our colours for the rest of the season but I do feel he’s got away with one here. He wasn’t looking to force a move to a PL Club or a team halfway down our division…it was our biggest rivals for promotion. As I say, let’s forget about it til May, but the way that Rovers interviewer talked of a heroes reception at Ewood is laughable.
  10. He was also having stints at centre half in 95-96. I remember him launching one up field for Shearer’s hat trick away to Spurs that season.
  11. Yep. Not gonna happen in England with the fans here etc. IF convicted. Can't see who takes Goodwillie either given the PR around this.
  12. Just seen that. What a sorry episode. His best bet is to bugger off abroad. As will Greenwood's one day too, you would imagine.
  13. Seemingly no let up below us. We need to do the business on Saturday.
  14. Rule number 1 - never ever follow Merce’s betting tips. Hopefully he can get you a pint at Ewood sometime to compensate.
  15. Just seen this. That's really disappointing news...it had looked like they were going to persevere with him. At least the window is shut as they're some decent bodies down, particularly up front.
  16. Why? Their confidence must be extremely low. We need to take advantage of that come Saturday, and I think we will.
  17. From what I saw of them against QPR, yep, they still play out from the back and are very much a possession focused side. For my money they’re exactly the type of team that we should flourish against, so we need to be targeting a win here.
  18. Our old boy Goodwillie aka the new Wayne Rooney, isn't going down well at Raith Rovers: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-60214769
  19. Indeed. For all my moaning last night, I agree they have one big issue - Parker. Spoke to my old man this morning (non Rovers fan) and he said exactly the same, "they can sign who they want but they won't get promoted with him in charge." Great to see WBA sticking with Ismael too. They backed him over Snodgrass and a mini player rebellion by all accounts.
  20. Rumour has it, their players will be travelling by train to every match from now on.
  21. Good to see other fans coming together on social media tonight laying into Bournemouth. They’ve really put a target on their back today. I for one would love them to fall on their sword.
  22. Exactly. Who is doing the negotiating? Who signs off? If it’s Waggott and Venus then it’s akin to having the Chuckle brothers behind the scenes. One is a terrible CEO and the other is an assistant manager! It just strikes me as a two bob operation and on deadline day it really gets found out. The second we come up against any sort of competition, we’re gazumped.
  23. I’m in a critical mood tonight but it can’t just be me who thinks we never seem to have plan B’s lined up. It was Maja or nothing in the summer and seemingly Dembele or nobody today.
  24. Imagine a few clubs will be in for him but offering Snodgrass a deal to the end of the season would be sensible to me. Sounds like he’s only out of the door as he’s fallen out with Ismael. Would add some real experience in helping us to potentially get over the line.
