  1. Will they be opening the extra seats in W01? Would look good completely full. Away fans are in opposite side of DE so no issues with segregation
  2. How will the digital hub solve my problem of not having a suitable phone or printer?
  3. There would need to be some kind of 'wow factor' to significantly increase ST sales. Sadly it isn't going to happen anytime soon, however I do applaud any attempt of trying.
  4. I assume if you turn up on matchday without a suitable phone you'll be fine then.
  5. Thanks for your post and obvious effort to help supporters beat these needless obstacles. Did they give examples of what the exceptions might be?
  6. Are the Trust still taking the club to task on this, or are they happy with the latest statement regarding Cambridge tickets? Across this forum, Facebook comments etc I'm yet to see any positive comments about it, yet the club continue to ignore the fan base.
  7. Plenty of tickets still available (albeit mainly in the Riverside). Possible for the JW lower corner to be opened if the rest of the stand became v. close to selling out but that would be it, if indeed they bothered atall.
  8. Away tickets always get sent to the away club in batches, according to expected demand. So nothing new there. Another flaw to the club's argument making out this is the first time they have done that.
  9. What a patronising bag of wind he is. Where the hell do we find them?!
  10. I think a common theme on here is numerous people have contacted various people within the club (me included) about this, but they are not prepared to budge. Tells you all you need to know about this club.
  11. A thread on here won't cut it. They just treat it as a load of people whinging. The more people that refuse to go, the better.
  12. Never heard anything so ridiculous. If they'd listened properly then they'd have scrapped it. As well as the away tickets, how many non-digital freebies will be printed I wonder! It takes the gloss off the great initiative of having a fans' takeover day by creating a barrier for people to attend the Cambridge game.
  13. I'm told the Supporters Trust are too. The more groups and individuals that contact the club to complain about this ridiculous idea, the better.
  14. He's certainly involved, he was cc'd into a reply I received regarding this. In a nutshell, they fully intend to turn people away if they refuse to buy online. Needless to say they've lost at least one tenner from me and subsequent concourse purchases etc.
  15. Also, if the club get wind that this could potentially happen it will result in more stewarding costs (because they will want to stop it) and therefore may be worth their while to do a U-turn on closing the BBE 😉
  16. Fans at some clubs probably would do, but as we know Rovers fans in general just sit and accept. Yep, such a passive fan base.
  17. We've seen cost cutting measures before, firstly with the closing of the Darwen End and then the Riverside for cup games. But now to only offer 1 stand is just plain ridiculous. If Waggott is that intent on penny pinching then he could have allowed the Blackburn End to stay open but instead close 2 out of the 4 sections of the JW stand. That stand operates as 4 seperate areas so could have easily been condensed. That way fans would still have had a choice between a side view or behind the goal. The clowns that run our club never cease to amaze me.
  18. @only2garnerscould you also add that in the JW lower (Darwen End half) the old betting kiosks are left empty when they could be utilised as bottle bars (I believe they do this in the Blackburn End). There is only 1 kiosk in the JW lower that serves alcohol and the queues are ridiculous. There's another kiosk that does food only and that copes quite well. So can they either reintroduce alcohol in there or make use of the old betting kiosks with bottles? Thanks.
  19. Perhaps the 8,500 includes freebies & actual sales stand at the 8.2k ish mark. Just a guess.
  20. I remember in the Kean days going to Leeds and paying nearly £40. This is nothing new from them.
  21. He will reciprocate, but at the £45 😂 Hopefully Leeds fans get charged that everywhere they go & make it known to their club how p*ssed off they are. Maybe then they'd revise it properly.
  22. No Rovers fan should end up paying that. Members will get the discount and like last season I would imagine ST holders will be able to buy a discounted ticket for a friend (although he didn't confirm the latter).
  23. He also confirmed that around 7k ST's were sold at the lower price & around 1.5k since. I asked does increasing the price not prove that sales will take a hit? He said he wanted to keep it at the lower price for as long as possible but the owners were pushing for the increase as soon as possible (budgets). He said it's the highest total since he's been here & is hoping for 10k in total!
