  1. Id be very surprised if it was Rovers turning down ticket sales. We are well known for opening the floodgates. But If true, fair play. If they're selling corporate at sky high prices then that will cover some of the deficit
  2. They haven't even made the rear and some side seats available behind their goal.
  3. Excellent effort. Praise should also go to the ticket office staff, selling approx 2,000 tickets in such a short space of time.
  4. *pinch of salt* but somebody has posted on one of the Rovers Facebook groups that he bought his ticket in person this morning and was told we have asked for more tickets.
  5. @only2garnersposted the other day that he will ask the question at tonight's Fans Forum so hopefully we'll have an answer one way or another by tonight. As has already been said though, the club should have been on this already & an announcement made whether we can have the extra's or not. Or at the very least say they are waiting to hear back!
  6. Couldn't agree more. Hopefully they will have the common sense to put the request in this morning and update us accordingly
  7. They sold out pretty quickly online. The odd one may have re-appeared after dropping out of someone's basket
  8. Sold out online. Lasted about 5 mins. Get that request in for the extra Rovers!
  9. Get the extra tickets, we will sell them. Absolutely no doubt about it. Current allocation will be gone on Monday.
  10. Part of BU3 isn't within the current allocation either, so surely scope to give us at least an extra block or two. Rovers should be asking now though, not waiting until early next week so that there's enough time for delivery & sales. There's no doubt the current allocation will sell out. They're now on BU2.
  11. With the amount of tickets sold so far & general sale coming up on Monday surely the club will be asking for the additional allocation Spurs got to take it up to 6,000?
  12. Venkys is already plastered all over the top of the Riverside (where previous sponsor names were placed). Have they sponsored it already but just not announced it perhaps? Certainly don't think we should begin to sell our soul by re-naming the stadium after some 2 bit company.
  13. This will sell out, but not until general sale. Wouldn't be surprised if the lower tier sells out tomorrow as they've already opened 3 out of the 4 sections available in there. Sales will slow over the weekend as there's not many new people who qualify in phases 3 and 4, then it'll be the inevitable rush when it's reaches general sale on Monday.
  14. Good that it's a tenner, hopefully a few more bums on seats. But I agree, completely wrong choice of game for maximum impact.
  15. ST holders have had a couple of cup games if I'm not mistaken where prices were cheaper than if you was a non ST holder.
  16. As a ST holder myself I'm not bothered about the odd £10 deal or bundle etc. Still far cheaper having a ST over the course of the season than buying individually. Norwich and/or Luton would be ideal opportunities to get empty seats / stands used.
  17. They should do something similar to last season. £10 tickets behind both goals maybe. Stick small away followings (eg Norwich) in the upper! Kids for a quid in the Family Stand too. It's not difficult!
  18. Apparently there will be sufficient netted off area's in the Darwen End, along with the existing small block in the JW which has the Venky sign on it. Which is good news for ST holders in those end blocks who have been affected in the past.
  19. Has there been any progress on the arrangements for the B*rnley game? I'm aware that there won't be the usual overkill of closed blocks in the home area's this time, but wondered if any other info had come to light during the fan meetings with the club/authorities.
  20. There's no more at Ewood so I expect it will be temporarily sold out at some point in the morning. The allocation was 3,300 and can go to a maximum of 3,900 which is higher than last season, so a good few hundred will be available on the night.
