  1. The fan zone has great potential. It's already OK booze wise - Blues Bar, Fanzone Bar and the bottle bar shed. It's just needs more food options as not everyone wants a curry. Some of the away grounds have a good mix of catering in theirs. As for the concourse, it's just overpriced and poor quality.
  2. They could utilise the fan zone more with various street food type things. The curry stall is good but apart from that it's just booze
  3. Really is a joke. I believe they're training during the week then having back to back games around the 15th.
  4. Assets of community value The Community Right to bid (Localism Act 2011: part 5, chapter 3, sub-section 87 – 108) aims to give local communities early warning of the sale of land and buildings identified as having community value and a fair chance to make a bid to buy the property on the open market if the property owner decides to sell. That's all well & good but would who would be in a position to put in a bid? ...and if they did it doesn't have to be accepted if there is a higher one, which of course there would be in order to fulfill their aim.
  5. How long until the stadium goes the same way as the training ground?
  6. I've never liked any of our away kits that haven't been either yellow or black & red halves or stripes. They've always been the tradition for me. My mind could be changed colours wise though if that black/grey combination is true due to it fitting in with our traditional halves.
  7. No. Fleetwood and Barnsley have now though. Not sure why they are drip feeding!
  8. There's no way they'll release those figures. I asked the question years ago and got knocked back. The only club as far as I know who do are Tottenham
  9. We're now on day 5 of ST's being unavailable. The only thing coming out the club at the moment is adverts for Stadium Tours and Quizzes! The FF meeting was days ago, but still no further updates on anything to do with ST's / kits / pre-season as promised.
  10. £2 Ticketmaster booking fee whether or not you go online and use Ticketmaster! £429 is my final offer, always trying to squeeze more out of you arn't they!
  11. We still don't know how much they'll be either as prices were based on last year's rates until the claim your own seat deadline. You'd like to think common sense would prevail and prices remain as they are. A further increase would certainly count me out on principle.
  12. They haven't even been on sale for the last 2 days. Understand they need to clear the non-renewed seats, but what's the hold up? Perhaps the powers that be still undecided on another price hike.
  13. 1 seat here will be revealed! Plenty of seats available around me should I decide to renew. All depends how much they are when I'm ready to renew around July time.
  14. If the price goes up again, I'm out. Like many, I've got commitments over the next few weeks, so will be July time when I'm ready to buy.
  15. Well it's unbelievably in our own hands. 2 wins guarantees playoffs! COYB
  16. There's also a new Head of Commercial called Paul Fielder, however I'm not sure he's even real. I sent in two separate queries which were referred to him by two different members of staff (fair enough), but he didn't even have the decency to respond. Don't think he'll be getting a job in Communications anytime soon the ignorant sod. Thought we were shut of people like that.
  17. There's only one kiosk in the JW lower that serves beer which only just copes for the lower attendances, but for the 2 games it has been sold out recently it's an absolute nightmare. The queue was that deep at HT you couldn't walk past. There is a second kiosk but it only sells soft drinks so isn't anywhere near as busy. Surely you'd set that up to serve beer too, or use the old betting kiosk as a bottle bar.
  18. Why are the pubs shutting? Pretty sure I walked past a few over there at the away game. EDIT - Fox & Hounds is opening as usual.
  19. Shame about all the empties everywhere else. As for the game I'll go for 1-1 It's a must not lose IMO.
  20. There is one with Uncle Jack holding it up!
  21. Some may remember at a previous fixture that some of us were involved in arranging for the netted off seating area's to be filled with flags. Although there is much reduced segregation in the home area's this time, I have asked if we can do this again. So (providing the club agrees) if anyone wants their flag displayed at the game give me a shout. There will be an area in the bottom corner of the Riverside & I've asked if the Venky seat covering can be replaced with standard netting in the JW lower to allow flags to be attached. I remember there was a BRFCS one on display last time too, not sure who is in charge of that these days.
