  1. Preston cut Blackpool's allocation to 2k for the last 2 seasons also (and it wasn't a sell out in home areas). They've cut ours too from the usual 5,500, but only down to 4,500.
  2. Would imagine they'll be put on sale early next week. Strange that they sent the away allocation over so early.
  3. Looks like we're getting close to selling the 1,900 allocation
  4. Fans who have joined the1875 club will get a discount, however there are only around 2,000 or so members. Many of these are also ST holders. As for splitting the DE, that definately won't happen now as their 2,000 tickets are spread across the back of the lower tier.
  5. I'm not outraged, just think the team deserves a good turn out. 1,900 isn't a tall order under the circumstances & as you say I'm not the only one who thinks it (I'm 38 btw with plenty of outgoings 😉). If we were talking Sheffield numbers then yes that would be unrealistic (or "rubbish"), but less than 2k? Come on!
  6. A message board is there for debate and opinion. If that's not for you then you're in the wrong place. I take it the cost of living crisis had a day off when we played at Sheffield?
  7. We should be filling that. Could understand it if it was the usual mediocre crap we've had over the years
  8. If we can't muster 1,900 then we don't deserve a team fighting for the play offs. If the trains are expensive, car share with your mates or get on a coach.
  9. 1,900 allocation, reasonable prices, not on TV and a massive chance of reaching the playoffs this season. There's no doubt we should be selling this out.
  10. Had his ticket cancelled by the FA aswell 😂
  11. @only2garnersto set the record straight, can you advise from the various meetings surrounding this fixture how & why the decision for 2k tickets was reached and why they opted to use the lower tier rather than the upper? Cheers.
  12. Completely agree this needs renovating and as suggested something smaller than the other 3 stands, closer to the pitch with the roof aligned similar to what Preston have done. It would give the stadium the finished look. It needs to retain its existing 5k capacity though, reducing it to say 3k would look ridiculous. We've had more than 27,000 in the ground on occasions & if promoted we would do so again pretty regularly. Also agree that it should incorporate a covered disabled section, perhaps along the full length at the rear on a raised platform.
  13. Well done Rovers. For years we've opened the floodgates for away fans to cash in whilst sacrificing home advantage. Many clubs offer just the standard 2,000 minimum and still have empty seats elsewhere. Hope they do boycott & it will mean we have even more advantage. The corporate tickets have already sold out at £200 each so we already have their money. The only thing I can't understand is why they haven't shoved them away in the upper. Perhaps they are thinking of doing what PNE do against Blackpool... giving them the minimum 2k and opening half the stand up to home fans?
  14. They probably don't want to put ST's on sale yet. They've hit their targets so guessing they will want to wait until the new financial year?
  15. The take up wasn't amazing for Bournemouth (around 1,000 I think) but we only had an outside chance of making the play off's. This time we are right up there and I think it would do well. It can only be a positive thing!
  16. There was about 1,000 last season when we had an outside chance of the play offs. This time I'm sure we'd double that and practically fill one of the half sections in the lower at least. Pointless opening up a stand in the gods, barely impacts the atmosphere & who'd want to sit up there anyway realistically?
  17. Another ticket deal for Norwich - £20. If there's something riding on the Luton game (which looks increasingly likely) I'd like to see a Darwen End deal to get home fans behind both goals. They've done it before with mixed results, but with the way things are going it can only add to an increasingly improved atmosphere, but on all 4 sides with away fans shoved upstairs to lessen their impact. Is this something you could raise @only2garnersor would tickets already be on sale by the time you had your next meeting?
  18. Well as we all know its about meeting targets, numbers through the gate is less of a priority. They'll know how many will renew no matter what and price it accordingly rather than taking any risks of trying to gain new/lapsed supporters. Yes there have been ticket promotions recently, but that's only because they have met their income targets for the season.
  19. Sold out at 2.01pm no doubt! Pretty much 6k now, it's going to be electric.
  20. Almost 5,800. The couple of hundred or so more we might get would be nice to round it up to 6k.
