  1. Indeed. I've never been, but I looked at the line-up just to see what it's like and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be a bunch of "emo metal" bands I've never heard of. Just goes to show that 'guitar music' never dies. But when bands that were 'big in the 90's' are still headlining festivals (and I certainly don't just mean Download) 20 years later, it does beg the question - Where are all the decent "new" bands? Are there any?
  2. Didn't realise it was a series at first - thought it was a TV movie. I was seriously laughing at it. I think partly because I still think about OJ as a comical figure.
  3. The People v OJ Simpson on BBC2 right now. I thought it was a (no pun intended) black comedy. But I just checked and apparently it's not supposed to be. It's been a while since I watched BBC (MOTD aside).
  4. Semi-finals coming up. Anyone could win it from here - even England (amazingly). Though NZ are the only team with a 100% record and have looked pretty damned good - I'll go for an England v India final. Wednesday 30th March 2016 New Zealand v England 14:30 Venue: Delhi Thursday 31st March 2016 West Indies v India 14:30 Venue: Mumbai
  5. Joshy went a long way to winning this one. But the thing about this England team is that potentially 7-8 players could 'do a Josh' and win any game from almost any position. The reason I didn't turn off after South Africa has amassed that massive score against us. Spinners were absolutely dire and almost lost the game - yet the faster bowlers came to the party this time (the opposite of what happened a few games ago). I'm enjoying this T20 stuff more than last years WC. It's not all bish bash bosh as some of the scores elsewhere will tell you. Looking forward to India v Oz tomorrow afternoon in what is essentially a quarter-final. Happy Easter!
  6. Really enjoyed that game. I have to say it was the first time I've actually watched an England game from start to finish (with more or less full attention) since the last major tournament. We are the BEST and we are going to win Euro 2016!!!!! :tu:
  7. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
  8. I was gonna say even before that appalling miss that this Ali needs to work on his shooting. It seems to be a massive weak point in his game.
  9. As normal you just feel that extra bit of quality is lacking from England. Shooting for example - it's been awful.
  10. Is this Germany's reserve team? Anyway, for arguments sake imagine no Hart and no Butland (due to injury). Which 3 keepers would make the Euro squad?
  11. 1-0 to Germany. That was a proper Paul Robinson moment. Jason Steele for the Euros?

  13. If you can't get up for an Germany v England game then you may as well give up on Football right? ....maybe I need to drink more?
  14. England are just amazing and amazingly in the semi-finals You can't argue with that. Job done and anything from here is a bonus. 2 games away from being Champions.
  15. Had a terrible feeling that we were going to get penaltied out of the Grand Slam right at the death. But we stayed strong and in the end The French just ran out of steam. First time since that glorious World Cup winning year! Swinngggggggg Looooooowwwwwwwwwww!
  16. Bowling was atrocious again (I know a couple of ours are injured but it's hard to believe that's the best we've got to offer at this level) - and no wet ball excuse this time. No excuse for the @#/? poor fielding either which was almost as bad. It was an amazing run chase though and keeps us in the tournament for a while longer. It seemed like the openers were almost pressured into having a free reign due to the situation of the match. Normally they are plodding around like a Morgan on warm milk with half a teaspoon of sugar.
  17. Gayle! Woweeee! He is like the Bryan Dabo of the cricketing world.
  18. Surely I'm not the only one that can't help sniggering upon mention of Willy is playing at the w@nky stadium.............Am I? Damned West Indies won the toss and will get the balls first............ Come on ENGLLLLAAANNNNDDDDD!
  19. Yes. It's time to watch Leicester City, squint your eyes a bit and dream of 95.
  20. Swing low, sweet chariottttt Coming for to carry me homeeeeee! Grand Slam is still on. I can hardly believe it's been 13 years since England last managed it. The same year as The World Cup win. Seems almost like it was in ancient times.
  21. Who'd have thought after The Ashes that Oz would now be 'the number 1 test team'? There's hope for ANYONE - including Rovers!
