  1. Yes. Lots going on behind the scenes Tony (as you would expect 😉)
  2. I think we can all agree where the problem lies but Eustace has shat on his team and the supporters. How do you think the info got into the public domain literally hours before an FA Cup tie and 3 days before a ‘6 pointer’? Venkys are the real problem but let’s not absolve any other self serving fuckers.
  3. We need to get ‘the snowball song’ to number 1 Lenny 😉😂
  4. I hope people realise why we couldn’t give a ‘running commentary’ of what was going on behind the scenes but the Trust Board has been fighting the fight. I think our strategy has been correct and I think we are in a strong position to call out the owners now. I still personally think John Eustace is a snake for what he’s done but that is a personal opinion.
  5. I know times have changed but back in the day half the England team went up and played for Rangers. That wasn’t about money.
  6. Most top players are millionaires regardless of who they play for, so presumably their next criteria after money would be playing in big, full stadiums packed with passionate fans. Whatever you think of the Old Firm, they have huge fan bases (probably only bettered by two premier league clubs and even then its arguable).
  7. Why not? If you were a top player and you had a choice of playing (in the same league) at Stamford Bridge or Celtic Park every week, which one would you choose?
  8. Just so people know - and I can only speak for myself here - my reduction in recent posting on here is linked to not having enough spare time to post as much through being busy at work and with family issues and absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with WATR. Those who know me in the real world know what my thoughts are, as do the WATR board. Anyway I’m pretty sure you’ll all hear something very soon.
  9. Well that would be the big name player we are looking for
  10. It’s just a couple of people putting two and two together really but his name has been mentioned two or three times. I agree with you totally on his suitability.
  11. There’s an indirect link on Twitter to Cauley Woodrow. He is Luton’s 3rd choice striker. He’s scored 3 in 63 games. Sounds perfect for us.
  12. Apparently we have been linked with Ghanaian midfielder, Cantzee Naecunt, who is currently looking at houses in Wilpshire.
  13. The money that we were going to spend on McGuire
  14. Fucks sake has nobody even been spotted looking at houses in Wilpshire?
  15. Apologies if already posted (and for the fact that it’s THAT lot), but this is actually quite funny.
  16. The Beautiful South - Old Red Eyes Is Back
  17. Imagine being sat next to that cunt. 🤯😂
  18. It’s not 100% certain Danns wants to go out on loan. He has a potential trip to Wembley and Carabou Cup final with Liverpool. Okay they aren’t certain to overturn the 0-1 first leg defeat against Spurs but it’s likely he would be involved in it in some capacity. He’s thinking about it. That's from someone pretty close to that club.
  19. I was there that night. I seem to remember Billy Hamilton the ex Dingle was up front for them and Gennoe saved a pen? The draw for the next round had already been made and so the prize of a home tie against (ironically) Ron Atkinson's Man Utd was the carrot. It was a great night. Oxford were on their way to the top flight at the time and I'm sure got promoted that season?
  20. A lot of numbers there Tyrone 😜
  21. The Jam - Away From the Numbers Amazing to think that Weller was barely 18 when he wrote this!
  22. The deaths of two Tonys have been announced today: Book and Slattery. RIP to them both
  23. Jimmy Radcliffe - Long After Tonight Is All Over One of the famous ‘Three before eight’ at Wigan Casino
