Even when Hedges does hit a cross it’s from 25 yards off the byline and one that is impossible to get anything in.

Our winger’s disaster play summed up by the looping cross from hedges isn’t anywhere near useful, bearly out but falls to Weimar in the rights who’s looping cross is over touch. Neither one could ever be finished by an attacker.

Played off the pitch by a superior side. We were set up so negatively from the start it felt like the goal was a draw at best. Looked more like the side trying to scratch and claw out draws fit survival than one sitting around the playoffs

Easy now. Gueye is at least fit, although Gally could strike the ball much better their touch isn’t very different.

The frustrating part isn’t the call, it’s the fact the ball was being played away from goal by the attacker and the resulting penalty is 1000x a better scoring chance than was was prevented by the handling. The right call but very harsh on us. But like others have said, we should have been 2 up. Flukes like this happen they just feel worse when we don’t finish out golden chances. Very uneventful away match, probably deserved at least a point, maybe all 3 but you have to take your chances to win

Really should have won that 2-1. Hyam and Weiman have to put their chances away. The penalty was hard luck, 100% the right call just unfortunate since the ball was being played away from goal and Hedges had his arms up as he stopped from making contact with the player from behind. Those things will happen, what can’t happen is missing a sitter and a 1v1 with the keeper.

It’s maddening. Take all the risk of passing in the middle and defensive third only to end up hoofing a 50/50 to a 1v3. Modern football is average teams trying to play like the best in the world.

Dismal match for the neutral. Fair result as neither side did much to earn 3 points. Take the point move on and hope for some of the final third magic to return.
