  1. The squad is paper thin at the most congested part of the year. Hopefully we can get a few bodies back soon or we might be running out our u-21 side. We’re at home so can be a bit more aggressive and attacking minded. Not like we really have options anyway. I’d say we start: Leo brittain Hill. Carter Pickering Tronstad. Wharton Moran. Sammy. Siggy Dolan
  2. Been playing great for the better part of the last month. Huge improvement over Trav in positioning and connecting the play. To think 6 weeks ago people were writing him off as a failure
  3. He’s in loan. Don’t believe we have an option to buy
  4. Great 3 points. Outside of the first 5 min and the last 5 min really nothing in the game. Stoke happy to play backwards and sideways while Rovers content letting them do so. I’d be furious if I were a stoke fan as they generally lacked any desire to play the ball forward. From a Rovers perspective it was well organized and great to see the side yield so little in opportunities. Would have been better if we could have held the ball more when we did win it, but with a makeshift back four, happy to be defensively organized first
  5. I cant log in....it keeps telling me my credential are incorrect, but they are saved and the same as they've been all year...haven't been able to access any videos for 3 or 4 weeks now.
  6. Except it shows is is indeed offside at the moment the ball was played
  7. Britain wrong sided on the ball in, is inexcusable since the ball was always on the right wing. How do you allow the player goal side out that wide?
  8. Not to mention the ball played to the man who crossed it was offside
  9. Hope it’s not true but back in 21 he missed at a long spell with a hamstring. Lad has been quite unlucky with injury.
  10. surely we will line up like this. No other choice really except maybe Travis in the middle or Siggy on the left, but Dolan and Trondstad deserve to keep their places. Leonard Dolan. Szmodics Moran Wharton. Trondstad pickering. Wharton. Hill. Brittain Whalstedt
  11. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23908270.fa-confirm-wharton-decision-blackburn-rovers-appeal/ that’s fantasy news!
  12. “The Blackburn Rovers defender was substituted in the second half and he was replaced by Scott Wharton. Carter is unable to play against Norwich City on Sunday after picking up a fifth yellow card in the Championship against Swansea City, triggering a one-match ban. That gives the 24-year-old 10 days to recover from any niggle, with Preston North End travelling to Ewood Park on Friday, November 10. Tomasson is hopeful he will be available for that fixture.” from the LT
  13. Norwich really were shite. What are they doing with all the parachute money? Good 3 points, well seen out after the red. Hope JRC isn’t out long
  14. Really poor place for Leo to push that ball into. Similar to Chelsea. Batting the ball to the penalty spot not a good technique
  15. I thought so too until I saw the replays. Scott wins the ball first
  16. Whlstedt lucky he was run into…he’d already let the ball slip though his hands.
  17. If he didn’t get the ball it was certainly a red…replay showed he won the ball first.
  18. Carter is suspended due to accumulated yellow cards. Unless you’re counting Barnes
  19. Well that’s about the only thing that could get Norwich back in it. Poor give away and on reply it seemed he did get the ball.
  20. Think Pickering weakness (speed) is Stearlings best asset. That’s never a good match up for him. part of me thinks JDT knew it was a long shot. Chelsea a much bettter side than the 2 premier clubs we beat last year and with no European competition they can put more emphasis on the cup. Add to that our small squad and busy fixtures since the international break, it made sense to rest as many legs as we could.
  21. The difference in quality was clear. Especially in the areas that mean the most. Inside their box we really struggled to look dangerous often playing back. In ours they always seems a threat. There were moments where we did well but never really threatened. A chance with Leonard an hand ball that should have been a pk, but we didn’t really trouble them. All in all a good showing and one the lads can take pride in as they weren’t run off the pitch by a side that cost 20x ours.
