What’s so confusing to me is how our tactics have completely changed is 2021. When we were winning games we played without the ball, pressed high, won it high and quickly transitioned. Even when we were broken down and Kamenski has the ball, he’d look to roll it to Rothwell who would turn and counter. fast forward to now. No pressure, backwards play, and lots of long balls. It can’t be a mistake that we’ve completely changed our way of play and with it lost our form. When was the last time you’ve seen us press high? Last time we’ve consistently won the ball in the attaching 1/2? Go back and watch a match from November…we look a complete different side with a different plan.
