Opinion on Hedges game seems mixed. Ranges from mom to nightmare. I thought he was poor. Gave the ball away a lot, caught in possession with the ball under his feet and didn’t play any penetrating balls through. Sure he provided the “assist” but that wasn’t anything other than a knock down.

Didn’t mean to imply Dack is a CM, just noted he wasn’t used. Lots of speculation that his fitness level doesn’t fit JDT’s style. Not sure how a player if that quality doesn’t fit any style at this level.

Buckley and Trav could be the best central mid pairing we’ve had in 10 years. Wonder where Dack fits in

That goal followed the attempt from BBD that was set up by Vakes touch to get Britain behind. He hasn’t done much else, but also hasn’t many other chances to.

Agreed. QPR had a spell but outside of one shot from 35 out that Kamenski had covered never really threatened. Until the run up to the goal we hadn’t really threatened either. 1-0 at half seems reflective of the match so far

For me the biggest issue has been hedges or whoever is the deeper of the central 4 needs to get more involved. We’ve been mostly solid in the back, connected well but have struggled to get the forward line involved. A fit Dack would do wonders to help provide options to the back 6 to bring us into the attack.

First 20 not much to talk about. Last 20 much better. Still missing someone to connect the back to the front.
