I’m not sure I can recall him ever showing up to begin with. -

Gutted for Dack. Lads battled to get back on the pitch and if it is an acl it’s going to be difficult to come back from. Just the amount of time out makes returning difficult. Cant blame TM or anyone else. These things happen and all you can do is support the boy in his recovery and hope he can get back what he had 18 months ago. -

I can’t recall the last time we got on the end of a cross in the attacking half. We continuously pump them in and never look dangerous. -

I can’t wait to see a proper left back next term. Douglas is awful. Every time he gets the ball in space it ends in a sub par cross, a pass back or a give away when trying to play forward. -
Swansea 9th March at Home

Counting chances that fall to SG is like the old proverb. If a tree falls in the woods but no hears it did it make sound? If a chance falls to SG and it’s wasted was it really ever a chance? -

Right, except the chances fell to SG. So we really couldn't have scored any more than we did. -

I think Dolan does a better job of pressing and moving than AA. He drags defenders out of the space, leaving more room for Dack. With that said, I would put AA right back in, get him top scorer to increase his value come summer. Were showing that we can perform without him for next season. If we can get 30 million for him and use some of that to bring in a central defender or two on a permanent basis, we could be in good shape next year. -
If we continue to play wingers wide, and others in their natural position they might have to call this fellow back in
-
I suppose I am to consider this negative progression on our journey. We didn’t win possession, had more shots and goals. Performances like this go against everything we’ve been told the last 10 weeks
-
Fancy that

No but it can play right back

He’s probably just making the assumption based on TM previous selections. Remember we don’t have formations, so everyone is really slotted anywhere on the team sheet.

Kaminski, Rankin-Costello, Lenihan (c), Harwood-Bellis, Douglas, Buckley, Trybull, Dack, Gallagher, Dolan, Brereton. could be the least experienced side we’ve lined up in 25 years. What’s the average age here?

I thought I recalled us spending $14 million quid on strikers. I guess they were a winger and right back...my memory has gone to shit I guess

I understand the fella who pushed the crowd noise button at Ewood after Rovers score has been furloughed as he’s services are not expected to be needed for the next 4 months

There’s certainly an element of possession that can lead to success but possession for the sake of possession is worthless. In his post match comments he seemed to be pleased with the volume of crosses and “how we got behind the defense so many times”. I must have tuned into the wrong match on the tele because I didn’t see but one or two half chances. I certainly didn’t come away thinking our stack was anything but toothless. -

Completely lost up there. I’d rather see us lose the ball trying to get through than going backwards to keep the ball. It’s all too easy to defend. -

We simply lack the ability to get behind the defense. Individually no one in the wing can dribble by a player and as a team we can’t connect to get in behind. Instead we just piss around in the middle and back. Giving away possession there is dangerous. worst of all when we get in the final third we don’t even attempt to get in behind. Like they’re instructed to play possession instead of trying to score. It’s shocking how poor we are in the final third. -

I just hope we are not unfortunate enough to see one of Readings lads sent off. As we are well aware such an event would be detrimental to our hopes of getting a result. If they go down a man in the first 5, it would doom us to a 5-0 drubbing.
