  1. You can’t make this shot up. Mid table by seasons end.
  2. Not really. Missed two on international duty, cameo in another and in the last match put the ball in the net twice before he went off injured but both were ruled off. Only played 90 min in one out of the last 5.
  3. Dastardly decision by the ref, feel for all the supports who made the trip. With our current injury problems, can’t say it doesn’t come at a great time though.
  4. “Daniel, I’ll sit and talk to him, but that’s why you have a squad and it was great to see [Joe] Rankin-Costello come in and played 75 really good minutes for us in Daniel’s absence.” “Whilst it’s disappointing for Daniel, it was great for Joe Rankin-Costello.” what Match was TM watching? JRC was by far the worst player on the pitch.
  5. Can’t remember the last time Rothwell carried the ball forward with pace. Earlier Kaminski would look to his feet as soon as he got his hands on it. Now it’s just lumped forward
  6. Not good enough for the bench really. How bad has the right side been?
  7. Everyone is told they needs years to integrate into our team.
  8. In the end we are more of a challenger for playoffs than automatic promotion. We always knew it but we’re all hopeful we could be more.
  9. Certainly can’t plan on the chances falling to center halves. Buckley should have a 5-8 by now. Travis needs to pitch in and our wing backs should too. It’s can’t all be on Diaz and Khadra all the time.
  10. Of course that's if "Guy Mowbary" doesn't decide to sell him first: Manchester United and Chelsea leading race to sign Blackburn star Ashley Phillips | Metro News
  11. Yeah if TM was thinking of a more attacking option on the right, why not move Zeefuik there and bring Naymbe off when Khadra went on? JRC hasn’t shown much since returning.
  12. Would have fancied Ayala as a center forward today. Might have Gergen his head on one of the 60+ crosses and unlike last weekend there was no chance to run in behind.
  13. Agreed but we can rely on our center half’s to be producing from the run of play.
  14. On a totally unrealated note, nice for Fisher to get a clean sheet. Wish the kid all the success
  15. Even if had not been saved off the line the ref had blown jrc for impeding Fisher
  16. Remember when the window closed and TM said something like, “The phone was ringing with clubs offering big number 9s, but we did listen because we don’t play that style…so why bring one in?” With 61 F’n crosses sure would have been nice for our promotion chances to have an ugly monster like that to put up top. not to have the foresight that in the last 17 games that sort of tactic might have been needed is mental
  17. This is the exact situation where having Dack back, if only for the last 20 min would be massive.
  18. We have very little creativity when it’s not a break in a counter. No one even attempted to beat a player in a duel out wide. Settled for crosses into a back 6.
  19. What’s clear is we lack much if any creativity in the final 3rd. All season we’ve created in the counter with space and numbers. Today up a man against a side parking the bus we didn’t even try to break them down. Never took a wife player on, never played to a forwards feet, nothing through. Everything went wide with long deep crosses. Made it easy in them. Khadra, Diaz and Buckley are not the 3 to be playing long crosses into. To a man the performances were poor. Buckley had an awful game. Sitter aside he got caught with the ball under his feet too many times. Then when received the ball in space never drove at the defense.
  20. Not sure BBD has gotten but 4 touches. Good thing we saved him.
  21. Our attack in the run of play when we’re not on the counter is very simple and predictable
  22. Haven’t sniffed the goal since going up a man
  23. Up a man and playing backwards and sideways. Going down a man was the best thing that could have happened for the swans
