  1. Same reason he pretends to be in the know, attention and reaction.
  2. Not bothered about raya going at all. Thought he was a real poor keeper. Theres a reason he didnt play for us until we were in league 1. Walton was better than him when we were in league one at the time. He was keeper of the season but missed out because he was a loan player. Johnson and downing add much needed experience and are better than evans and smallwood. Gallagher is better than samuel and nuttall (back ups) and can play the graham role. The centre half for city will be better than mulgrew, with the simple attribute of being able to head a ball, and youll never guess it, but defend. Every player brought in are imrpovements, and with the other young lads coming through we are stronger. However granted we still need another centre half and a proper winger.
  3. 2-1 Rangers. EDIT Offside, what was our keeper doing though, deary me.
  4. Interesting seeing some of the comments, Rangers fans seem to think we've been the better side and we've been too strong for them in the second half.
  5. 3 foot defoe beats mulgrew in the air, surprise, surprise.
  6. When we were in league 1 and Raya got in the team of the season, Walton was said to be the one who would have been in team of the year however he wasn't allowed as he was a loan player.
  7. Wow didnt know theyd signed them. Always knew fulham would be strong. Theyll be better than us simple as, so write off second game of season. Lets just make sure we beat charlton, its imperative we do.
  8. I dont get the pattern though, whats it for, proper random? Not fussed as i aint bought a shirt for over 10 years , so just interested/bewildered by it.
  9. Well its value will be higher than Blackburn, of that im certain.
  10. Yes, we are looking at 23 new keepers, 18 off them are close.
  11. His twitter account confirms his as a Leeds fan mate.
  12. From a neutral writer, thoughts people? https://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/blackburn-can-spring-a-surprise/169114?aff=1197317997&dcmp=SL_TWITTER_BLACKBURN1807
  13. But neither can cross a ball, which isnt good for a position that is essentially a winger, neither of them good at breaking forward either, they wouldnt be good wing backs in my opinion mate. JRC may be though. Nyambe is a decent full back, good at breaking and has pace but soon plays back to defence if he cant beat a man, also cant cross a ball either. However maybe nyambe and bell were slightly reluctant with two poor centre backs last season, maybe theyll play with more freedom this season.
  14. Was having a good season last season until he got injured (played 30 games). The keeper who then came in also played well, so Lampard kept him in the team. He's been doing pretty decent at Derby. I'd be happy with a more experienced and vocal keeper. Youngest average age of the squad in the Championship season 2018-19: 1) Blackburn - 24.55 2) Wigan - 24.73 3)Swansea - 24.76 4) Reading - 24.95 5) Ipswich 25.03 Ipswich were bottom, reading were 20th and in a relegation scrap until last couple of games of the season, Wigan 18th and same as Reading. Then us and swansea were decent at times, but far too inconsistent. There's a lot to be said for chucking in some experience leaders. That extra expereince from Downing and Johnson, and hopefully someone like Carson will be very good for this team, at times last season we really lacked the nouse in games, e.g. 1-0 at Bristol and losing 4-1 2-1 up at ipswich (a very poor side) and conceeding in injury time 2-2 1-0 up at home to villa and conceeding in injury time 1-1 1-0 up at Swansea and losing 4-1 2-0 up at home to brum and conceeding two late goals 2-2 2-1 up at leeds in the 91st minute and losing 3-2 2-0 up at brentford and losing 5-2 2-1 up at brum and conceeding with a few minutes to go, just after we'd taken the lead 2-2 There were a few other games were we were leading and didn't win, but these are the main ones, 20 points dropped here, in games of which we were controlling and then just fell apart, or didn't have the nouse at the end of the game to keep the lead. We finished on 60 points, even taking just half of them points that we chucked away (10) that would have put us on 70, granted that wouldn't have been enough for play offs, but in a lot of season it would see in the play offs or very near.
  15. I knew someone would say that lol. Well if we are going off facts, waggott and mowbray have both said "similar budget to last season". Last season we spent on deals WORTH, 7mil in BB and 3mil in Arma, and we apparently had some left for january but didnt use it. Therefore if we are going off that, then no we havent spent it and should still have a few quid spare pal.
  16. If its carson and then the Raya money spent on a centre half and a winger on loan then that would be okay.
  17. Interesting one of the best in the league. Obvious why though, we have more of the ball at home and attack a bit more meaning we dont have to defend as much. That is exactly why we shouldnt have just sat back when playing away from home, team wasnt and still isnt good enough to do that.
