  1. I don’t know how credible it is but I was told that a striker was being worked on whose name hadn’t been mentioned in media circles - wasn’t given name before being asked but my hope is that that’s still being worked on. Would have to agree if we don’t land a striker now then what the hell have we been doing. I know gallagher has been told he will get his chance up top but we still need another.
  2. I was told Lowe was unlikely last night with bmouth leading chase, they will be spending a bit today with Ryan Christie from Celtic also coming in. As others said I’m not too fussed at missing him, albeit I rate him and advocated his signing when at pompy but with his age now against a resale value, and not what I believe we need up top I’m happy to let bmouth have him. Few fires still burning although only one fairly certain
  3. Predictions edun in hedges in obafemi- loan surprise mystery signing 👀
  4. Bit of a different vibe in Bournemouth’s Twitter camp about Lowe, they seem buzzing to get him. maybe us rovers have unrealistic expectations
  5. Said we should’ve signed Lowe when at pompy, hope the fee isn’t too big though, not one I’m giddy about but decent enough
  6. The forward not striker I believe is patrick roberts
  7. Yea probably but worth asking, complete striker for me
  8. For a striker I’d be asking how much Barnsley would be wanting for Cauley Woodrow, always impressed me
  9. Haha I’m not mowbrays biggest fan by a long shot but I’m content with how we have started the season, not any results I didn’t expect , bit of fishing going on here I take it 😂
  10. Not really mate, because he has been there and done it, experienced all of footballs highs and lows and is generally a good guy. Lot of time for the bloke and he seemed to be well liked by the squad in his time here. He also knew a thing or two about being a lone striker and how to hold it up. I don’t know who our striker coaches actually are at the moment but id rather have Graham than who we currently have
  11. Actually thought it was slightly harsh but then he has a nasty little bugger who deserves that for all the times he should’ve been sent off against us. Clearly doesn’t like us
  12. Graham would be a good addition to coaching team I feel and to have around the squad
  13. Thought gallagher had a terrific game, needs to have his confidence built up. Iv seen enough of magloire now to know he won’t ever be champ standard, time to sell
  14. Have always said that gallagher is wasted by mowbray, he isn’t fantastic but more than capable up top
  15. Where we are , I’d say 90% of our incomings are for profit later down the road. We are a selling club until we are an established premier team- if that ever happens
  16. Don’t think the armstrong deal would have got done without us giving up so much on the sell on fee. Without it newcastle were looking for 6 mill odd which we didn’t have. In the end we got the player, the goals, and they got the 4 mill in the end. Don’t have a problem with how that’s played out tbh. Rather that than loans
  17. The loans don’t do anything for me unless it’s a omg I can’t believe we have pulled this off Harvey elliot kinda loan. These are just filler. Why can’t we go and get our own Dutch centre half instead of loaning of Brighton who I’m sorry but I refuse to believe they are a bigger club than us. Better team currently , granted, but we used to piss all over Brighton, it’s laughable this is the stage we are at
  18. Don’t know if they have been mentioned before but fraser Hornby is a name in the mix and I feel the club should be looking at Jason Kerr- have no information that we are interested.
  19. Yea elanga was up there , mentioned it a few pages back
  20. Haha ok then, proven myself before, have a nice day
  21. Don’t have names but being priced out of domestic moves, even from league one. interrogating European market again , few fires burning . If we don’t get a perm striker in by deadline they have failed badly as it was always the plan to replace armstrong
  22. Leeds lad was fairly down the list of wingers to be honest, means they didn’t get those they really wanted. Still got to give the lad a chance. been told still working away at a perm striker, keeping the number 7 shirt open for this
  23. Luke jephcott would be one I’d be happy to take a punt on if the price was right, real in the box finisher
  24. Nope from me, Owen coyle had st Johnstone looking good too, Derek Mcinnes, it’s a road that’s not worked too well for us in the past. Christ even mowbray was well regarded in Scotland until Celtic disaster
