Criticising Mowbray for making information public that should have been kept private isn’t absolute nonsense. Tell Rothwell no chance you’re moving, tell the press no chance he’s moving and the situation we’re in now would have been entirely avoided. No one is blaming Mowbray for the (probably criminal) abuse that Rothwell and his family have received, but he should have had the sense to know that his post match comments would have incensed the fan base and made things very difficult if the move broke down.

You’ve said this three times and it’s still not true. It’s impossible for Rothwell to force a move as he’s under contract, if he were to move we would have to agree to it.

If he was a free agent the club who signs him would have to pay a huge signing on bonus/agent fee, they often end up paying just as much as they would have if they bought him. It’s not as simple as what you’re saying.
