Evans should be nowhere near the side, especially in the left of the three role that he played tonight. Gallagher shouldn’t be in the 18, the fee we paid is a sunk cost, Mowbray should call it off as a bad job and stop trying to justify it. We have the basis of a good team that’s capable of promotion, but I’m afraid deep down we all know that it won’t happen under this manager.

We’ll never get close to promotion with that defence, and Mowbray hasn’t shown once in his time here that he’s capable of sorting it out.

There’s a fine line between giving a kid proper game time and relying on them too soon, Mowbray tends miss the line every time. Dolan is a kid signed for the u23s, we shouldn’t be relying on him to fill the winger position, no matter how good he looks in training.

Wish people would strop rewriting history on Cunningham, he was bang average in his few games with us - just being an upgrade on Bell doesn’t mean he’s good enough. That’s not even mentioning that he’s had an injury that most would struggle to come back from, avoid.

Apart from the comment about Derrick being a big asset for Rovers, he’s been nothing short of dreadful since he arrived.

Doesn’t matter because a contract is a contract. Unless they had a break clause of some description, they will have had to buy themselves out of the deal. We’ll probably get a percentage of what they should have paid and the opportunity to get money from a new sponsor for the season, might not be too bad for our finances.
