  1. You've never had to manage upwards because of an incompetent boss? You dont have to be confrontational but theres ways he could put pressure on and nag them to give an answer.
  2. I'll be honest I've only ever found it useful when solving these kind of puzzles that pop up on Facebook. You'll probably have been applying it without realising your whole life though.
  3. Didnt tugay famously smoke like a chimney? Wouldnt get in the team under mowbray logic. Personally I dont care about the attitutde off the pitch as long as it's not illegal and doesnt disrupt the rest of the squad. If he does the business on match day then he should play, if he doesnt he should be dropped.
  4. I love it when someone gives a wrong answer with such spectacular confidence ?
  5. Cracked it
  6. Lightbulb stumped me a bit is each 'ray' worth 3?
  7. That's the natural conclusion to never signing any defenders.
  8. That's how I read it, hes sowing the seeds for us only getting in freebies and loans. I think we'd all be happy at some youth coming through but that seems at odds to him shoving bennet at left back and bringing mulgrew in over carter
  9. Nice of him to highlight to the press that he's struggling with confidence, that'll take the spotlight off him.
  10. Chance to blood some youngsters and see what we're working with next season. I therefore expect Bennett in goal, Gallagher playing RWB and Mulgrew as a wide forward and Bradley Orr as false 9.
  11. Was it downing as false 9 that made you certain?
  12. Being absolutely destroyed on sky sports news. Absolutely woeful.
  13. Tough game, play off hopes pretty much gone, superior team, fans with little hope of a win = tony playing a blinder and getting a 3-2 win.
  14. Cheers Jim ? I might come back to this in about 10 weeks time when the house has been destroyed...
  15. Holloway, he's nutty enough for the venkys to like.
  16. Travis fouled and a decent keeper saves that.
  17. Yeah was gonna say the same, reads like he'll be doing both.
  18. Exactly - and Brereton hasnt lived up to the hype when he first came here. Under Tony we need a decent centre forward which will cost us money. Or we could get rid for 2mill and get atleast one of Ben or Gallagher firing them in under a different manager
  19. Would a different manager not get more out of the likes of brereton, rothwell, gallagher and play anyone but beno at Lb. I feel like a different manager playing a different system, getting the most out the current squad round pegs in round holes etc. would need to make far fewer signings than tony would in order to get a bit of excitement back in the fans. That in itself is worth the 2m it might cost to sack him.
  20. I'd take him as well. Theres a good keeper in there. If hes willing to drop down to the championship there'll be competition for him and you know the snails pace we operate at in the transfer market.
  21. This years holiday is next years holiday leaving this year holiday fund free to spend on 2 months of scrubbing piss out the carpet and being bitten.
  22. Luton wont be a dead rubber game. We'll turn up to the next three games and get ourselves into a good position, final game of the season will be must win to get in the play offs and we'll lose it miserably.
  23. Good news after cancelling our holiday this year we decided to get a puppy. Lal pup was born this weekend and can be picked up in 8 weeks!
  24. The initial foul was nothing and not worth a red, there was a question of whether there was a stamp as he walked away, they looked at it for ages on Sky sports news but it was obscured because of the thing that swooshes across the screen at the end of a replay (I dont know the technical term) maybe tony saw something real time that we couldn't see on the cameras?
  25. Everybody loved mowbray when he was bought in (unless I'm miss remembering?) he was a breath of fresh air after Coyle and brought a degree of stability to the club. We were unlucky not to stay up that season and he bounced us straight back up. It's only since our return to the championship that he's frustrated and failed to kick on properly. I'm disappointed and frustrated with the club at the moment but we're still likely to finish top 10, I dont think for a second coyle would have got us anywhere near that. I think Tony's time is up but to suggest Coyle is a better choice I think is a bit far fetched.
