Thats the problem JH ..until things get relaxed even further ie certain areas not under local lockdowns ..daily figures plummeting further ....or certain areas close to going in to local lockdown again ...they just wont be able to just let anyone in. Our supporters bus from Accy will be decimated and i think it probably wont even exist this coming season ..infact the Club it runs from hasnt even opened its doors since March. Im not having a pop at you at all Stuart ..all in your head ! Im just stating you ll never please everyone regardless of how much time and effort someone puts in to a kit which you mentioned in your post so responds to that part of your post Stuart . And the majority of fans at other Clubs saying the same thing ..

Remove Rovers from this post and insert 90 % of football team names, we re not on our own on shirt designs. West ham fans in the majority slated all three of their shirts released this season and the list is endless of other club supporters doing the same. And at the end of the day it comes down to the individual whether they like it or not ..everyones taste is different ..never going to please everyone even on a kit decided by fans. You could have three potential fan kits and fans could vote 50% kit One 30% ..kit Two ..20% kit Three and straight away half the fan base has a dislike to the winner...so no real easy way to decide a shirt. As for me yeah looks reasonable ..maybe with blue shorts red socks blue trim ..may look quite dandy on the pitch ..IMO !!!!!! Yep all adds up JH . Again Boxing Day / NY Day fixtures are so out of sync you sometimes have to think whos doing these fixtures ? Some clubs dont even have games on Boxing Day /NY Day .. too many outside influences ...although Sky is the predominant factor. Yet "football" is supposed to entice fans back in ..not a chance.

Matt i do agree with you ..but this proposal gets thrown up nearly every summer. There are so many other factors now that Rovers (all football) have to contend with. Its not the cheap season ticket secures all. Granted it should secure more fans especially in this uncertain time for quite a lot of people but not that many new ST holders but more regular ST holders this season. Last twenty years the influence of Sky ( i know ..done to death ) ..the lack of 3pm games ..decent Boxing Day derbies ..pubs open all hours ..a massive influence ..people quite happy to spend a Saturday affy in November in a boozer watching Jeff and his ..er girls possibly watching the scores as they happen. In the olden days pubs shut at 3pm on Saturdays so a perfect excuse to go the footie ..home tea.. ready for them to open at 7pm . Get success ie promotion that changes things ... but even PL football doesnt guarantee you full houses ..again because of all the outside factors that the modern day chucks up ..look at Burnley ..cant sell out 23000 ? Price plays a part but too many outside influences im afraid.

Yep agree with you there ..just the same stance as myself and the majority on here the last 6 weeks .. but i was asking those that wanted to dispense with their money blindly not knowing the situation ? Suddenly seems a reluctunce ..

Thats if 7000 season tickets holders have paid full the amount up front. As im sure most fans for piece of mind this season would maybe sign up for Direct Debit on the presumption if the season doesnt go as planned "Fan wise" they can simply stop payments. Factor in how many tickets are possibly Kids Students and OAP tickets too ..Bolton will not be sitting with 2 million in the bank today ..(presuming they re putting it in a bank ..one never knows in this day and age !) . I do agree though that its about time Rovers at least started giving us some figures on price and actual attendee figures they think will be allowed in to watch games live .

Maybe Everton didn't want to risk some of their "Stars" on such a surface and simply said forget it.
