  1. I agree 100%. Also, the average age of the team that finished the game was 24 years old, which is really young for the Championship - and they were at one of the toughest grounds in the football league, being disciplined and going toe to toe in a really ugly battle and finishing the game off with a couple of high quality goals. That includes an outlier like Graham too! Mowbray is putting a nice balance together and building a young squad capable to sustain us for the next few years. Good times.
  2. I think it’s gone a long way to shoring us up in the last few minutes, we went 4-4-2 vs WBA and brought on a pacy outlet we needed yesterday. Risk/Reward with keeping the magician on when it’s not working or the ball is just being pumped into our box and we’re being pushed back. Fantastic game management from TM.
  3. Proved me wrong didn’t he! I was bricking it. p.s. You are being smug and you have hurt my feelings
  4. Stop taking yourselves so seriously blimey. Anyway, I’m off out to sack off dry January thanks to Magic Mr. Mowbray!
  5. See @K-Hod imagine if the Nutt goes on to continually bang them in, how can we not have a laugh at those calling him League 2 after 120 Championship minutes? FWIW I thought he played well against some beastly defenders.
  6. Ah right, you see that reads a bit more balanced. Just getting a little tired of some finding ways to slag TM about absolutely everything, some have seemed disappointed that we didn’t go out of our way to develop a Chelsea youth product even though he didn’t really fit into the team or pull up any trees when he played.
  7. I don’t know mate, if people think people talk shite on here then why can’t they be called out on it? Thought that was the point - to discuss stuff and have a bit of back and forth. The premature meltdowns are fantastic, stop being so soft everyone.
  8. 6 points off the play offs after the run of games we’ve just had - as if the Xmas period isn’t tough enough says to me that we still might be knocking on the door at the tail end of the season.
  9. Fantastic win. Battling performance. Couple of good goals. Trust in Tony.
  10. It’s a proper scrap, and we’ve earned the right to have a bit more of a go now. Have to fight for a foothold against a side like this. The sky is falling in though obviously, I agree
  11. He started the game where Smallwood was sent off.
  12. You’re an embarrassment- he was tripped.
  13. That old get coming on ain’t to shabby though
  14. How tall is that Millwall lad?? No. 5 is it? Jesus.
  15. “Our young players need to see that there is progression to the first team on merit Mowbray is a wanker I feel sorry for players like Travis because I think he will drop him” *Travis starts* *Nuttall starts* ”I cant believe he’s starting a League 2 standard striker, he’s a lot of explaining to do” Some of you lot crack me up.
  16. Christ almighty. Ridiculous.
  17. Disappointed in that. Rodwell is just giving them a goal head start.
  18. Ha I suppose. You know I love me a crap cult hero. File him in the Caddis drawer.
  19. Best of luck to him. Hope he can overcome whatever has been happening and have a fresh start, lads got plenty of ability for the lower leagues. Burnley born, trust me it’s tough.
  20. There was a period maybe 93ish-96/97 (before Ronaldo basically) where I don’t doubt that Shearer was the best in the world. Wonder what that 15m record transfer would be now. Tugay was up there for the greatest modern Rover though for many reasons. The style, the joyous freedom and confidence, the fags, the age, how underrated he was, retired here etc. Tuges is my favourite. Would love to to have seen Douglas, fantastic how people still speak of him in “the greatest Rover” conversations even today after the Walker years.
  21. Yeah but he’s shit and Grabbi so fuck him
  22. I’ve been trying to get “Bre-re-TON!” going for this last two away games. Surprisingly no takers.
  23. I know what you mean. But it was Drogba and Anelka Straw poll - Keith Andrews... or, Etuhu, Murphy, Williamson, or Lowe... I rest my case m’lud
  24. I think Super Keith got unfairly treated by Rovers fans. I vaguely remember he was slagging off Kean and Venkys and got shipped out on loan - he seems a decent bloke. Suppose many rejoiced because he wasn’t a particularly fantastic PL midfielder. But he got stuck in. I reckon he’d have done a job for us considering some of the shite we had in the Championship.
  25. Do as I say not as I do. #kenout for me. SuperKeith has his say in this clip, and tells us something about a certain ex- manager that we could have guessed...
