  1. I’ve been happy to not look down for a while. 49 points average survival over the past few years and maybe less this time. Interesting to see where Wigan and Rotherham are tonight - that’s a decent barometer for how well we are doing.
  2. Would have to watch again but that certainly wouldn’t be the first time - one of his few faults for me.
  3. Looked like a Bennett mistake to me. No way should he have been shielding that towards the box from there, just get rid.
  4. Nyambe only just back from injury isn’t he? Would normally want him in but tough to change the defence after two clean sheets - Mowbray alludes to the same in his radio lancs interview - that Mulgrew might not just walk back in.
  5. https://www.skysports.com/football/blackburn-vs-ipswich/392868 Didnt see the first half but the highlights overall make for nice viewing. First time finishes from Graham and Arma and we’d have been two up.
  6. Agree, but against a strong left wing I think it would be prudent not to waste Rothwell defending. Every team has to consider decent opponents and as shown today - “The Rothwell Injection” looks like it works when their midfield/back line have put a few miles on the clock already... Will have to see. In Mowbray I Trust.
  7. Tbh I’d be surprised if any of the current top 6 falter too much. Good teams. Maybe boro? I’d be absolutely delighted at this stage in the journey if we can keep the heat on and finish best of the rest - that’s a hell of a platform to build from as the Blades have shown. You never know though... edit - Sod it, unbeaten till the end of the season, ten wins, eight draws - a comfortable 4th.
  8. Rothwell better as an impact sub? Bennett RW, Nyambe RB if they are dangerous down that side especially
  9. Just to reiterate - it’s likely nothing to do with a club decision. The club have to stop this stuff because of broadcasting rights. And I have to say the social media over the last couple of years has been fantastic. So apart from the pricing and surcharge, which I agree needs looking at... Why is everyone so keen to throw pelters at Waggott/the club? After all we’ve been through, our complaints now make us look like a normal functioning club again- does this not deserve a little credit? Everyone so keen to jump on the club about every little thing completely forgets what we have come through, where we now are, and the work it has taken to steady the ship. Hysterically or wilfully abandoning logic to cry wolf is counter productive in helping us stay vigilant and importantly, heard if it all goes Derek Shaw/Agnew/Shebby again. Just my two cents. If there is something else dodgy apart from the surcharge and our average ticket prices then please remind me.
  10. Lamberts put some decent players in tbh What happened to Gwion Edwards? Looked good opening day and can’t see anything online about an injury...
  11. Wouldn’t have minded a centre half on the bench tbh, but as far as it goes that team should have enough...
  12. The deal is criminal, the EFL must have sent David Davies in to negotiate. But on both points it is ultimately the broadcasters calling the shots - clubs are just pawns in the TV game. It’s crap. On the censorship front - it’s ok filming at the ground for now... but if half of you lot get on camera every week shouting “Mowbray out, Waggot out” for no reason at all then it would start being worrying and draconian... Although i might welcome it! ?
  13. Ok. If you think it’s just because of stupid Waggot fair enough. Couldnt just be a misinformed/miscommunication from a steward on that part nor Briggsyboys recent visibility. Nor that the club have only just been instructed, most likely by BT at that game as it was on the telly. Waggot just hates us all. He wanted to be in breach of the TV deal to keep Briggsy’s 2,000 subscribers happy but he obviously just doesn’t care about the fans.
  14. Yeah it’s crap, but far easier to ensure one of the signatory parties in the deal holds up their end with simple “no filming or broadcasting” rules. Its only become an issue because of his visibility and popularity I expect.
  15. If you watch the video the club have encouraged him to film outside. It is the match action inside the ground where they get in hot water for allowing people to broadcast outside of the TV deals. You know, those TV deals and contracts that make up 90% of our revenue. Or it’s Waggot and his maggots. JFC
  16. The pressure for this comes from FA/EFL/ifollow/BT/Sky etc They are cracking down on people broadcasting “their copyright” in this way. It happens a lot, once a YouTuber gets a good few subscribers and it’s easy to find match footage from them on YouTube, the club are pressured to put a stop to it in order to hold up their side of the TV deals. Or if you prefer - Steve Waggott is evil and petty naughty man hates fans. It’s inevitable and he’s a victim of his own success so far. Anyway, I think if the “fan tv” thing if half as good as all the others out there it will be even more entertaining and draw a lot more viewers - there’ll be some right odd characters spouting absolute @#/?. It’s the Rovers fan’s way and I can’t wait to get my cringe on or be on it myself. Best of luck to him.
  17. Sadly inevitable this kind of stuff would start - thought it would be summer though.
  18. Rambling, batshit stuff. Spent 40m+ and players on 40k a week just to stay in the Championship??? Then says it was promotion or bust?? He’s an absolute basket case and was led up the creek by agents and it’s all going massively tits up. Sounds like he’s going to ask fans for more money/higher pricing etc too. Crazily the majority of their fans lap it up. Madness.
  19. Paul Gallagher at Brockhall today on Dunny’s insta ?
