  1. Oh yeah. Pretend I said - “Can’t believe Denis Irwin still hasn’t retired.”
  2. He’s the club captain of the team 2nd in the Championship and has just signed a new five year contract.
  3. Still “ThatTackle”-ing in Brazil...
  4. Mulgrew sounds like he’s 50/50 on being available according to TM Downing over Rodwell or Williams for me
  5. I would be delighted with Olsson. Would improve us massively.
  6. Have to say I was a bit underwhelmed anyway. He's a very, very raw kid that needs to go to League One first according to Blades mates.
  7. Fair comments really, don't remember many other players or staff criticising the owners at the time they were asset stripping so fair play to him. In other news, Keiffer Moore for 10k was good business - they sold him for around £1m a year later.
  8. Souness has said that too recently in an interview. Think we'd be surprised how many pros have a crafty fag. Feel like I'm telling but I spied that Dack had some "Snus" (Swedish gum tobacco - used to stop smoking) on his Instagram story... so he's going to get EVEN BETTER now he's quit the fags!
  9. Looks an interesting appointment to be fair. It will either go spectacularly right or crazily wrong - exciting.
  10. It's odd because players like Kane and Palmer are NEVER going to get in the first team picture there - what do the clubs have to gain? There must be some financial reason - hoping they get bought for a few hundred grand? Players will soon get fed up of it. Those with their head's screwed on anyway - look at Davenport, he could have entered the loan cycle of doom but pushed for a move.
  11. Baby Love Joachim's younger brother
  12. I think the team spirit and respect that the players have for TM, plus the way players such like Dack talk about him in such glowing terms (saying he is "a father figure" to him) prove that this is not the case. I think TM is pretty high on the emotional intelligence scale and knows how to manage people decently at the very least..
  13. Have thought very similar about Evans for a while. I just think he lacks football intelligence with his passing and positioning and he plays with less intensity than I’d like for that position. He does have decentish technique though and his interceptions/anticipations seem to be better this season. I much prefer Richie who is given a lot of unfair stick for me - he still seems to contribute well in most games I see (especially noticeable when I’m there in person). Lots of others have been raving about Evans and saying Smallwood is the weak link mind so what do I know!?
  14. Most teams in the league do though, it's all relative.
  15. Yeah I was disappointed to see him dropped and thought he’d get a start at Newcastle too tbh. Although I can’t complain about the results of the last two games. Maybe Mowbray knows what he is doing?
  16. Hopefully our scouting network can convince Ajax’s best youngsters to sign for us too.. I’ll leave it now and look forward to more game time for Big Ben. Prove those doubters wrong Tombstone Teeth!
  17. Maybe, just maybe, shocking I know - Liverpool might have even better youngsters than us... And Brereton has started btw. Did you watch the game?
  18. Palmer isn’t a Chelsea player as long as he’s got a hole in his arse. Wouldnt mind his slot being switched with another PL loan.
  19. Agree. I can see us going out, without another big/interesting away day or one of the “big boys”. Poo.
  20. Sheffield Utd came up and finished 10th last year. They now currently sit in 3rd, unanimously on here one of the best sides we’ve played. Would that be good enough? Kendall enough? Also, are you confused about Liverpool having better players than us?
  21. Don’t tell away fans that it’s been going down a treat last couple of games
  22. “Norway or Sweden, Paris or Rome, All they got was Aberdeen, Aberdeen at hooooome Aberdeen at hooooome” its a nice sing-a-long and funny but unfortunately just about Burnley again.
  23. Good, balanced post @roversfan99, although I think I can see “something” in BB’s movement and striking of the ball. So, so early to make assumptions either way and it will maybe be a while before he ousts Graham... one to wait and see for me. Lets hope we can pull some rabbits out of the hat this window or next... Have we even been linked with anyone yet?
