  1. I’d say a missed offside decision sealed it. Although it was poor from Raya. It happens. If it didn’t he’d be playing for Man Utd.
  2. Never really got going, although for the majority we were the better team. Makeshift side going down against Premier League players with a wildly deflected shot and an offside goal isn’t too bad really. I look forward to visiting St. James’ Park again next season. NEXT!
  3. Not saying much. We’ve got a few more gears to go through yet.
  4. That’s his name weirdly. Get it a lot when the commentators haven’t done any research.
  5. Could do with sorting out that back line. Looks a good gate too
  6. Apologies. Didn’t even notice it was 3 at the back it’s so all over the place.
  7. Yes but he won the league, that’s what the list is for.
  8. Again, I think Lehmann is far better qualified to be on such a list.
  9. Last chance saloon? Isn’t it his 2nd or 3rd start? Rondon on the bench worries me against Nyambe and Lenihan tbh
  10. Friedel didn’t win the title, that’s probably why.
  11. Trauttman played with a broken neck. I wouldn’t recommend that either.
  12. If Mulgrew is still out I'd be happy with Raya Nyambe Lenihan Rodwell Bell Evans Travis Reed Dack Armstrong Nuttall In an ideal world, drop Evans, Reed to CM and Benno on the right. Graham to come on in the last 20 mins to shore up the 3-0
  13. I’m far more optimistic about the football. I’m putting my jinx on it - we are going to put on a bit of a show for the cameras and run out as comfortable winners. (-edit- the Rovers, not the UK)
  14. Nice welcome lads. Best of luck with your studies @MoreThanAGame
  15. I'm going to keep saying it until the fake news stops- Travis started the game at Sheffield Utd where Smallwood was sent off. I'm hoping for Evans to be dropped for Smallwood - allowing Trav to get forward more.
  16. Also Gael Givet was a World Cup finalist wasn’t he?
  17. I agree 100%. Also, the average age of the team that finished the game was 24 years old, which is really young for the Championship - and they were at one of the toughest grounds in the football league, being disciplined and going toe to toe in a really ugly battle and finishing the game off with a couple of high quality goals. That includes an outlier like Graham too! Mowbray is putting a nice balance together and building a young squad capable to sustain us for the next few years. Good times.
