  1. Pantomime season I suppose. I'd say he's been behind Lenihan, Mulgrew, Williams and Rodwell for a CB spot
  2. Everyone is so bloody touchy on here. Not that I do it (or at least I try not to!) but if any of us say something someone finds laughable then I think it's a fair response! Best delete it if people can't hack it.
  3. I'd say it takes time. Although 9/10 is pushing it a bit, I'd say he's got more right than wrong. The only obvious mistake is Whittingham and I think we'll all concede that hindsight is 20/20 on that one. Anyone play the ball and not the man in here btw?
  4. Can you give me next week’s lottery numbers mate?
  5. I'll tackle Sheff Utd. Expect mainly pub reviews and parking recommendations.
  6. You think? If we don't even try to sign the captain of the best team in the world atm then that just sums up Mowbray's lack of ambition.
  7. Just seen they're out already but you're right!
  8. Thank god. Similarily selfishly - any South Yorkshire away. Barring that something trammable from Manc like Oldham, Bury (if they are in still)
  9. Nice on here after a convincing win isn’t it?
  10. I watch a lot of Wednesday, and I believe the word for Nuhiu is "gash". Foresteri still one of the best players in the league though imo, wide striker.
  11. Downing excellent, Conway excellent, Smallwood effective, Dack created every goal, Danny finished them. Zero complaints. Wednesday are very poor, but we were very good. Nice drive back with an Owls fan now ?
  12. Cheers for these - great to hear chat between fans for the more geographically removed of us. I know that hilarious Sheff Wed fan's forum you referenced @Herbie6590 - my "I told you so", work rivalry driven schadenfreude meant that I was gripped as they talked about transfer embargoes, points deductions and other huge potentially club-wrecking news, but to someone - the shirt sizes were far more important! I have heard a funny tale about Ryan Giggs' bank account too, but that's a story for another time... Keep up the good work!
  13. Would probably say that we're doing that weird Olympic walk thing. It's a good pace, but we can't let our feet leave the ground.
  14. £27 tomorrow for the away fans - they will think all of their Xmas' have come at once! You can usually add £20 to that for a one off at Hillsborough. So less than £30 anywhere in the ground tomorrow is (unfortunately) not too bad for The Championship. The bigger conversation is how ticket pricing in football is all over a bag of crap for the working class. Something's got to give... I would like us to brave sensible pricing in the future - and whether it fills the place or not, we need to consider our demographics... Over a season 5,000 extra walk ons at a tenner less than current pricing will cost us a million quid in potential lost revenue, but would gain 1.7 in extra turnover, and it doesn't even have to be every game. The middle ground of this equation would likely balance, and still keep season ticket holders happy. £15 for a game in the top half of the championship is the only way to even dream of getting those extra 5,000/2,500 bums on seats and we're at a nothing ventured, nothing gained impasse... I'd like to shake that fan's forum into campaigning for this. Bolton have a maximum £15 price band for unattractive fixtures, and so should we.
  15. We're mid table. Nearer the playoffs than the drop. What's a jog?
  16. Don't think you've articulated how incredibly, unbelievably despicable that third goal was from Williams. Apart from that - surprised to see so much blue!
  17. That photo of Dack kneeling in a garden finally got round the dressing room. It's a blip I hope and the test is this weekend - at home, against a poor team. If we don't outfight this non-fighting Wednesday side I'll start getting worried.
  18. It has negative historical connotations. At best it's old fashioned and it's not for one person to determine what offends someobody else. Each to their own of course when choosing what language they deem fit, but I think it's ironic that people get uppity and offended themselves in return when people challenge them. P.S. Campbell is a dick and will fail.
  19. I'm happy. Of course no one is irreplaceable, and it's our job to question his decisions, but I don't think we can let the last couple of weeks taint our view of what he's done for us since Coyle. ITWT
  20. The most galling thing vs. Wigan was Williams giving up, and lack of effort for their third. Shocked me tbh and summed up the game. So many variations of our team picks on here, it's inevitable that some will slate Mowbray whatever, and it's really tough to pick. So this is my approach... Raya Not Bothered Not Bothered Not Bothered Not Williams Not Bothered Not Bothered Not Bothered Dack Not Bothered Not Bothered Tactics: The fighting, battling spirit that got us here. If we put the effort in and play for each other like we did for the last 18 months before PNE & Wigan, then any 11 we put out can beat Sheffield Shitty Wednesday. I'm coming to this one, and all I want is to see us fight properly again.
  21. Very worried about this one. I've been giving it large over my Wendy friends all season, and they'll be insufferable if they win. They're awful, but I would take a point right now to get us back on track.
