It's just about balance. Find a way to win the game if we can. Throwing on too many attack minded players to "go for it" can easily lead to the second half against Bristol. I'd much rather back Mowbray to outthink Bruce over the course of the game and try and keep it tight first half. These lot have better players than us and a point would be decent all told but it's certainly winnable if we go about it smartly.

Not far wrong but I just cannot get on with Dier - so cumbersome and slow witted - would prefer Delph in there for more energy and quality on the ball - he’s still a good defender. Probably not the most sensible idea, but that’s why I’m not England manager! As you say, toss up for who partners Harry Rhodes as I think either are good, but there’s a gnats cock between Alli and Lingard too and I’d probably prefer the former. And to say he never plays, RLC is changing my mind a little every time I see him. Decent performance second half, nowt wrong with the Swiss, and look at what Spain did to Croatia tonight!

His intelligent and tenacious movement got him into position, the ball was dropping a little behind him and had to be hit on the volley quickly whilst he was basically facing the corner flag.
