  1. Oh I’m with you there, I’m saying Bennett Evans and Smallwood need to be on the pitch too.
  2. It's just about balance. Find a way to win the game if we can. Throwing on too many attack minded players to "go for it" can easily lead to the second half against Bristol. I'd much rather back Mowbray to outthink Bruce over the course of the game and try and keep it tight first half. These lot have better players than us and a point would be decent all told but it's certainly winnable if we go about it smartly.
  3. The gold stuff is accurate, as is the Asics collar label... but i'd ask for a better look at the McEwans logo. Doesn't look as raised and felty as I remember and more like the "official" replica they sell in the store now. Might just be my eyes.
  4. It was a little tongue in cheek of course, and I was in fact one of Jordan’s biggest fans - but I am aware of the general consensus regarding his all round game. I just think Kane must have a twin brother that plays for Spurs - he has the ability to affect games FAR more than he has been doing this year for England.
  5. Not far wrong but I just cannot get on with Dier - so cumbersome and slow witted - would prefer Delph in there for more energy and quality on the ball - he’s still a good defender. Probably not the most sensible idea, but that’s why I’m not England manager! As you say, toss up for who partners Harry Rhodes as I think either are good, but there’s a gnats cock between Alli and Lingard too and I’d probably prefer the former. And to say he never plays, RLC is changing my mind a little every time I see him. Decent performance second half, nowt wrong with the Swiss, and look at what Spain did to Croatia tonight!
  6. Harry Kane - England’s Jordan Rhodes?
  7. Just to derail - I wonder if Ryan will ever play for the Namibian national team? Anyone seen it mentioned that he doesn’t want to be selected? Always nice to have internationals at the club even if it is the lowest level going and (maybe ignorantly) I would have thought he’d get in the squad!? Unless... JAL do you manage them???
  8. I’d say don’t bother then, good riddance to you. Great these @tonyoz but have to disagree about the Palmer chance. His intelligent and tenacious movement got him into position, the ball was dropping a little behind him and had to be hit on the volley quickly whilst he was basically facing the corner flag. Not sure if he is left footed or not but I thought it was cracking technique from a difficult chance and bloody unlucky.
  9. Look will everyone just stop with the personal attacks towards Stuart? He’d never resort to calling someone a shirker, selfish, entitled and irresponsible because they disagreed with him... Called me “current youth” though so only 4/5 correct. Have a nice evening chaps. Pyjamas on and lock the patio doors... don’t be tempted now...
  10. Maybe he has had a disciplinary and is on gardening leave? @Stuart I haven’t seen someone so highly strung since Man on Wire. Cracking content and making me feel a lot better so thanks.
  11. It’s all cheered me up anyway. BRB got to find a photo of Jack Grealish on a bouncy castle in time for the Villa game.
  12. Yeah I wouldn’t. Mixed bag first half, had chances. Diabolical defending second half. Dack’s insta caused a bad performance. Standard gripes.
  13. Do you want us to get relegated? If I see any of our players near a garden chair they need sacking.
  14. Just for context, we’ve just lost our first game all season, and our third this calendar year or something. Maybe that’s why he was persisting.
  15. Somewhere in between these two comments may the truth be found. Very poor today. But Christ let’s not lose our shit.
  16. Bradley Dack was in his mate’s garden last night and this has made us lose.
  17. Should be able to drop Smallwood and Palmer after today at least. Rothwell a cracking signing.
  18. Bennett to RB? Palmer, Arma, Brereton and Rothwell front four can’t say it’s conservative
  19. It’s a fantastic free kick, laced in from 18yds central. Harsh to say it should be saved. He’s intelligently bailed out Lenihan and Bell on more than one occasion too
  20. No way Raya had a chance with the free kick, it was basically a penalty, wall looked about 15yds I thought we’ve been ok, good even. Lenihan needs to keep his focus more.
