  1. Pululu not involved tonight in his sides Europa conference game v silkeborg ?
  2. Wrexham forking out Β£10m for Nathan Broadlead from Ipswich. Crazy money in my opinion, could have been spent better elsewhere. Just shows why we need to scour the foreign market at present.
  3. Don't think Derby have a bottomless pit. Paid a decent amount for the USA striker (who is injured, sound familiar). Also had 2 bids turned down for right back Max Johnstone at Β£1.4m and Β£1.6m. Think we would have looked at him before settling on Miller
  4. It was 50/50 for Alebiosu tbh. Thought he was good against WBA, along with McLoughlin our best player imo. Bit disappointed last night but think there's something there to work on definitely All in all, despite the understandable doom and gloom at the moment, the signings have been pretty good. Just hope whoever else arrives is up to it. Agree that the loss of Travis may well be felt more off the pitch than on it.
  5. Verdict on what I've seen of the new signings so far (still early days I know) Positives Miller, Tavares, McLoughlin Jury's still out Alebiosu, Axel Probably not De Neve
  6. Jackson confirming what Wilsden has said regarding Mafoumbi. Respect to Wisden, he really knows his stuff πŸ‘ There are two ways that Rovers could free up a space in this transfer window. That would be to either sell or release one of the players, which realistically could only happen with Mafoumbi. The striker, signed last summer, is yet to play a minute for the first team and wasn't given a squad number. The other option is to hand Mafoumbi his Championship debut. As the player hasn't yet made his senior debut for any club, making his first appearance in a bad two league would earn him five points. He'd then get an additional 10 points for playing in the Championship, hitting the 15 needed to qualify for a GBE work permit. As Mafoumbi signed more than 12 months ago (last July), he's eligible to convert from an ESC to a GBE permit in this transfer window. So if Rovers want to sign Miyoshi, Moussa Baradji or any other players that don't qualify for a GBE permit, those are their only options.
  7. Apologies if this has been brought up before but will any of our ESC players convert to GBE any time soon ? Conversion: ESC players can be converted to a full GBE after meeting certain criteria, such as accumulating enough points or playing a specific number of minutes. This conversion frees up the ESC slot for another player.
  8. Well that surely is the end of that then whatever thr confusion
  9. I'll go off what you say and assume it's not up to date. Cheers for clarifying
  10. I got the info from this, saying 19 PTS but don't know if it's accurate or not.
  11. Michaelski Miller. Atchison. Wharton Pickering Tavares Montgomery Alebiosu. Axel./ Tyjon Kargbo Gueye
  12. Miyoshi on the bench for Bochum today. Not sure if it affects his GBE status unless he comes on ?
  13. Kargbo for De Neve, Miller for Hedges and move Alebiosu further forward. Gueye for Axel with Ohashi just behind
  14. Shit Ist half hour, been better last 15 mins Not many positives but McLoughlin and Alebiosu been the pick so far for me.
  15. George Hirst mouthing "that's what I do " Actually George it really isn't . Been a poor game really, threatening to boil over a few times
  16. Funny how foreign fans seem to bear no animosity to players leaving their club, wishing them all the best. Yet over here they are regarded somehow as traitors for daring to leave for new challenges. Maybe it's just the British mentality.
  17. Wasn't in the Bochum squad at the weekend so suggests something may be happening?
  18. The winger we are interested in is Koji Miyoshi apparently. Fee could be up to Β£2m Only 5'6" though so could be porkies !
  19. Alexander Henriksson β€’ 16/04/2002 β€’Another signing that is marked by myself as a dream signing, although I think he is still worth mentioning. Henriksson plays his club football for Swedish top flight side GAIS. During the 2024 Season, Henriksson played 26 games which 19 of them he started. Predominately deployed as the attacking player in the midfield three in GAIS`s 4-3-3 formation. β€’A parallel can be drawn to Fredrikstad`s current creative output in Morten BjΓΈrlo. The two players, while different share some of the creative and on the ball qualities. β€’The Ability to win the ball in the final 3rd of the pitch, and driving forward with the ball is something that is prominent in both players, and even more so in Axel Henriksson. A technically prominent midfielder combined with his athleticism and his towering 190cm, makes of a rare mould of a footballer. β€’ Although Axel Henriksson is an attacking midfielder, some of his defensive numbers are also through the roof compared to comparable players - Aerial duels won: 42 (92nd percentile) - Duels won: 117 (77th percentile) - Possesion won in the final 3rd: (89th percentile) β€’ The 22-year-old also had an impressive season attacking wise, as he managed 8 goals and 3 assists from 19 starts in the Allsvenskan for a GAIS team that finished 6th. His numbers in the attacking numbers are as his defensive ones, impressive. - Goals: 8 (100th percentile) - Shots on target: 20 (100th percentile) - Touches in opposition box: 98 (95th percentile) β€’ One of Henriksson`s abilities that impressed me the most is his positioning. In the instanced i have watched him, he always seems to be in the right spot, which speaks of a high footballing IQ. As previously mentioned, I find Henriksson to be a unique mould of footballer, and a mould of attacking midfielder you don't see very often. β€’This is made clear by the interest in him. At the time of writing, Polish club Rakov Czestochowa holds a strong interest in the player who`s contract runs out at the end of 2026, and as we fast approach the transfer window, I am sure there will be a lot of intrest in the player. As previously stated, i view Axel Henriksson as a dream signing, and aknowledge that should he leave GAIS in janaury he will most likely move to a bigger team. β€’With a market value of 1,5 million euros, I do not think a deal can be reached for under 2 million Euros which would Smash Fredrikstad's transfer record.
  20. Nixon says he's experienced so unlikely to be him I would think
  21. Hasn't Elliott said Baradji won't be coming now as all our eSC slots have been taken up with Axel ? Only way it can happen is if Mafoumbi is moved on
  22. Just a little bit concerning that nearly all the Hibs fans comments on Miller say he was much better as a RCB in a back three than he was at RB. Guess we'll find out soon enough
