  1. True dat. I agree it does often seem more like pure petulant stubbornness than good buisnesses negotiations
  2. The one (and probably only) thing you can credit the venky ownership for over the years is that they're never a pushover when it comes to selling players for the price they value them at
  3. The dolan situation reminds me a lot of the nyame situation.... Player thinks he's better and worth more than he actually is. But if that was the case then a decent club would have snapped him up immediately. Can see his career nose diving and him becoming another player that doesn't realise how good he's had it here
  4. He got a lot of stick on here in the past (mostly aimed at his apearance and demeanor 😅) but seemed a good loyal popular member of staff. Be gutted if d Johnson gets pushed out too
  5. Sorry not as sure it's been mentioned anywhere else and didn't want to create a new thread.... But it's been pretty much confirmed that david lowe has left the club
  6. Britain shouldn't be for sale to another championship club. And anything less than 10mill should be laughed at. But hexsim0ly shouldn't be sold
  7. Weren't one of the venks lining one of there sons up to one day take control a few years back?
  8. I know it's still early days.... But has anybody been impressed by a single thing that Ismael has done(or even said) yet?
  9. Also tbf😣 as cretinous as they are you could argue Pasha & waggot have a decent track record of hiring good managers (just sadly in regards to the last 2 they've quickly jumped ship)
  10. Wonder how long it will take before John Park is again re hired following the new manager then parts way (again) in six months
  11. Agree on every assessment. If that really was the list then it would be 💯 best just to leave it until the summer when there will be more managers available or until someone more promising comes forward
  12. That's why I've been thinking that maybe Gerrard could work even though I'm not really a fan of him overall... But he could have the personality and determination (bit souey esque) to just push us over the line and he can just let the current coaching team keep things as they are for now without any major or changes
  13. Can't believe there's so many that genuinely think Allardyce is the man for the job🙈 He did a average job for us on the whole and his career went on a steady continuous downward slope after leaving us (and became the epitomy of a mercinary)
  14. Big part of me just feels bringing any new manager in at this point would likely upset the balance, they're going to want to implement new things and change others, Just feel best not to rock the boat anymore right now and maybe the current remaining backroom team deserve to see the rest of the season out and keep things running as they have been whilst we're still in serious contention for a play off spot, then bring in a new head coach in the summer But obviously If our form plummets and we fall away then yeh roll the dice and bring someone new in sooner
  15. Just happy for the travelling fans after such a wanky week
  16. Sorry I posted this elsewhere before spotting this post. But as I said elsewhere.... I can see it now....
  17. Why did Bennie Mccarthy just enter my thoughts 🙈
  18. Was just about to say fk it get Mark Hughes back, but just seen he himself has just been appointed manager at Carlisle in the last few days
  19. What's that then? Odbods like you making defisive know it all remarks 😴 😴 😴
  20. Fk him, just another in a long list of wankers that think the grass will be greener on the other side. We've lost far better managers and players to "ambition" they rarely meet those ambitions once leaving here though. My money says he won't last 12 months at derby.
  21. Logic says put D Johnson in place until the end of the season so that there's as little disruption as possible
  22. As much sympathy as I have for any manager working under the venky circus Id still have zero respect for Eustace if he jumped ship at this stage in the season after all the effort the team have put in to keep us challenging for a play off spot Plus Derbys a shit hole of a club.
  23. Well I think its again going to come down to goal difference to get in the playoffs so hopefully at least one of them has brought his scoring boots because there's quite some catching up to do.
  24. Just put sky's deadline day footage on and can't decide who I find more repugnant and slappable! Michael Dawson or the horrid little goblin sat next to him
